My time away definitely helps put things in perspective sometimes.

Took a walk today and it's a blessing to be alone with your thoughts.

You realize how lucky you are. Small things can bring great joy.

Windows opened. Crisp morning. Wind chimes singing. Take a minute with me (56 secs actually) and watch the sun come up.

Dinner date night with my man 💕 Sweet Corn Festival. 🤣

He got his usual Pork Chop Sammy. I got the Italian sausage with pepp n onions. We shared some fries and both had corn - of course we did!! My dessert this year was blue cotton candy. Watched a little Diamond Rio and ran into a lot of people I haven't seen in awhile ( Craig Maxey Michael Morrow Cassie Wymer Mindi Renee Gabrielle Hiles Kathy Grotsky Dexter Jodi Benos Hern & Mrs Lavelle). Even got to see some royalty 🤣

Although Eric Wilson was a little disappointed with the Flying Bobs ride. Recorded DJ talking and quiet awful music. The kids these days have no idea what they're missing.

All in all a good time for a Friday night.

know I'm truly blessed with things in my life; but, tonight I'm heart broken.

Tonight I had to say goodbye to another piece of my heart as I helped my little girl cross over the rainbow bridge.

Callie Lea popped out of a soybean field and into our hearts 15 years ago. She had quite a personality as all torties have. She was very lovable but only when she wanted. And this was true to the end. While we waited our turn she was on my lap for 5 minutes. Then she sat on the seat next to me and just purred as I petted.

I will miss her lioness stature her diva walk and her unconditional love.

A year ago she wasn’t sure it was possible…. But look at her now!!! Proof that if you just keep pressing in and don’t give up you’ll see amazing success!!! So proud of you Suzanne for sticking to it even when you weren’t sure it was possible!!! Now you’re hitting a best month ever, and seeing continual growth! Consistency, time, and hard work pay off!
