and somehow, it still feels like we’re living in the same reality.

Not just in one way.
Not just for one group.
But in so many areas of life.

Women’s rights.
Mental health.
Black maternal health.
Layoffs.
Inflation.
Wars.
Families struggling.
Children losing their lives.
People trying to survive while carrying the weight of the world mentally.

And lately… it’s all been sitting heavy on me.

Last month, we recognized Black Maternal Health Awareness Month.
This month is Mental Health Awareness Month.

And both have impacted me deeply in different ways.

Not because every story was directly mine…
but because I understand that it very well could have been.

I think sometimes people forget that empathy matters.

Just because something isn’t happening directly to you doesn’t mean you can’t stop, listen, and understand the weight someone else is carrying every single day.

This reel is simply a reflection of what’s been on my mind lately.

Mentally.
Emotionally.
As a woman.
As a mother.
As a human being trying to process the world around me.

And honestly…
it’s been heavy.

Yes, Yes!! Mamas Block is Back!

Took a step back.
Got quiet.
Had a baby.
Rebuilt.
Realigned.

But one thing about it? The vision never left.

Mamas Block has always been bigger than events. It’s community. It’s connection. It’s creating spaces where women — especially moms — can feel like themselves again.

And as I am still processing this postpartum journey…please be patient with me because this comeback is not about perfection for me. It’s about getting myself back out in the world one day at a time.
