I never imagined “doing it all” would mean doing this much of it - alone.

I have lived many lives and by far the hardest, yet most fulfilling, has been motherhood. I always imagined raising my kids in a happy, loving two parent household. I just didn’t realize the “two parent” would be myself and my mom 😂

Doctors and dental appointments. Medical emergencies. Getting the kids dressed and fed. School drop off and pickup. Extracurriculars. Speech therapy. Play Therapy. Parent Teacher Conferences. Church. The mental load remembering it all - all me (with the exception of work days because bills don’t pay themselves).

The baton doesn’t get passed, it stays in my hand. I spent many days being angry about it. Now, I turn that anger into something useful and let another mama know she isn’t alone, I see you.

Mama you may be tired, you may not be living the version of motherhood you envisioned, you may be angry. You also got this. You have a friend in me and you are doing so much more than people realize. Keep going 🤍

Hiiiii angel pies!!

It feels good to be a gangsta, I’m back baby 😂😂 I literally feel fresh out after that ban

Balancing being a mom, navigating coparenting, being a friend/daughter/sister ain’t no joke. My son turned THREE! Like, what?! This month FLEW by 🎂☀️😎

Oh and I made my first pie ever, it was a vegan apple pie! So if anyone has baking tips, PLEASE get in touch with me 🍎👩🏽‍🍳

This month a big theme that came to me is: reciprocity. People in my life that are here and I can be there for too. I be fighting for my life sometimes and my free time is pretty limited. However, I keep seeing how my people are truly my people. Those that understand my cleverness, humor, struggles, capacity (and vice-versa) and still choose to love and show up for me. I’m so grateful and despite back to school sickness, my son sticking a screw in his ear, and feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated - it’s not always that way. I am excited for new encounters, experiences and meeting more incredible mamas and humans along the way.

10/10 recommend. So many cute ideas, and the Letters to Heaven had me in my feels, I probably shed a tear. Shout out to the woman who closed us out in prayer after the Pilates sesh…idk who she is but I appreciate her.

She’s backkkkkk.

I will make a whole post on why I got banned later. I’m still in disbelief since it’s been 84 years. It’s nice to see everyone’s lives again. I went through feeling so disconnected from everyone to then not bothered by it because I was out living my life and doing things for me 🤍

However, a lot of events, businesses, invites and all that run via IG and you don’t realize it until you’re banned and can’t even use it 😅
