The security camera on the rooftop at our house captioning a clear picture of the wild bird. Japanese common name a.k.a. Mozu, nicknamed Mozu-O, and by English name is Bull-headed shrike.

They often flies around in the neighborhood but I have never seen them in this close proximity.
It is a beautiful bird! 🕊️ 🐦‍⬛🐦

I need to set a bird feeder in my yard again!!!
Maybe a modern bird feeder comes with a built-in camera?! 📸 🤔
Mimi-ko is no longer here with me but
I realize that I can still enjoy watching wildlife and small creatures visiting here in my yard.

On 03/01/2025 My soul mate Mimi-ko passed away. My husband made a tiny casket by paulownia woods and buried her with beautiful flowers in our front yard.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported me to taking care of her for the last 10 years. It was such a great learning experience and joy of how to take care of sugar gliders.

I just miss her so much. Her soul lives on in my heart.

I don't know how old Mimiko is because I adopted her without biological information about her in 2015.
All I know is that she has already been here 10 years since then.

She had x-ray taking, urine and poop test at the vets office to see what is causing her losing appetite and uneasy breathing. The vet found that something is causing inflammation in the heart and pressuring lungs. Therefore she is having a hard time breathing. The vet suggested letting her be in an oxygen cage as well as medication to heal inflammation.

My husband immediately rented this oxygen cage and the technical person came and placed it for her today.

I just cried.

I appreciate that I had an opportunity to get to know about sugargliders and really enjoyed her company for the last 10 years.

It is devastating for me to accept this fact that she may not be too far from passing.
I just spent almost 4 months in my Mom's hospital room and she passed away in November 2024. It seems like everyone is leaving me.

I just wanted Mimi-ko not to suffer from breathing. I hope this oxygen cage would help her breathing condition.

We weren't quite good at scooping up a lot of gold flakes from the canal as guide staff members at Gold mine at Toi gold mine pavilion.
We got only a piece of gold flake! 😭 💰

It was a very windy day, but we were able to see Mt. Fuji from the highway. Very nice scenery!
