On December 13, 2025, I officially became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporatedā€¦ a moment that still feels surreal. One month in, I am constantly reaffirmed that I made the right choice. The history, boldness, and legacy of this sisterhood will forever guide me as I serve alongside my sisters. To @mrs.espn, thank you for being the Delta woman who guided me, answered every question, and for never leaving my side. I am so grateful for you. A very SPECial thank you to @maelean18, @letskeepitcute, @pbandgeli_, @canhope_, @becoming.bran, & Dr. Patti for everythinggggg. Thank you for instilling fortitude and grace and for modeling true leadership and sisterhood. To the captivating and committed Concord Alumnae Chapter, thank you for welcoming me home with open arms. I am excited to serve and continue growing in sisterhood and service with you all. To my family, close friends, and every Soror who supported, prayed for, and poured into meā€”THANK YOU. @thenadajapatterson, @amccrea5, @nasworlddd_, and @theki_tolife, you have shown me fervent sisterhood beyond letters, and I am forever grateful for your love and care. Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with our CEO, SVP of Tech, SVP of HR, and program leadership to reflect on my Launchpad journey at our graduation. I chose to tell the story of how I used to make trips to Loweā€™s with my dad, not knowing it would one day be my future employer. Iā€™m incredibly grateful for my time here. Launchpad has given me community, a host of opportunities, and the confidence to show up as my most authentic self and get the job done. Iā€™ve learned so much from some of the most intelligent individuals who work tirelessly to problem-solve and innovate on how we can be better as a team, department, and organization. This moment was even more meaningful as I had the chance to honor my dear friend Ashley, who left us far too soon. Ashley was a lightā€”her passion, kindness, and dedication touched so many lives. Though she is no longer with us, her impact remains, and I carry her memory with me in all that I do. It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone while honoring her legacy. As I approach two years with Loweā€™s, I know this is only the beginning of an abundant journey. Forever grateful for this experience and excited for all that lies ahead. by @mamimorbucks

ACT V: EXCELLENCE The pursuit of greatness, built on dedication and vision. Each achievement marks the close of one chapter and the promise of a bold new beginning, where the journey continues with purpose and passion. ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€” ā€œWe are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.ā€ My time at A&T has been filled with opportunities, challenges, and a lot of self-discovery. I am forever grateful for the lessons I learned both in and outside of the classroom. This degree has allowed me to honor those who come before me and hopefully inspire those who will come after. I would especially like to thank my parents for their support, as it is their prayers and sacrifices that have carried me to this moment. They have instilled in me the work ethic and humility that I carry with me each day; and is our parents who stand still so that we can go further. Additionally, I am so grateful for the friends who encouraged me through this process. As I leave this chapter behind, I am excited to embark on the next phase of my life, more than confident than ever, in myself and my purpose. As they say, Aggies do. Well, this Aggie is officially DONE!
