Coach Ringo informed Man 2 Man participants that Emotional Intelligence is the New Cool 💯😎

What is Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional intelligence is all about knowing how to understand your feelings, control your reactions, and handle situations the right way. It’s not about never getting mad, it’s about how you respond when you do.

Being able to pause, think, and move with intention instead of emotion helps you avoid drama, and build stronger relationships.

Real strength is staying in control, even when things around you aren’t. #man2man #maleempowerment #realconversations #mentorship by @man2man_program

Do you think you could put on firefighter gear in 30 seconds?

Man 2 Man participants took on the challenge—and learned, it’s not as easy as it looks! 💯🔥 #man2man #firefighter #gear #challenge #camdenbop by @man2man_program

SHARE & REPOST ‼️ BRING BACK MS. GODBOLT ‼️

Yesterday, we received the heartbreaking news that the founder and facilitator of the Man 2 Man program, Ms. Godbolt, would be leaving our school.

Creative Arts High School, in Camden NJ is the founding school of the Man 2 Man program. Man 2 Man was created to provide young men with mentorship, leadership opportunities, positive role models, and experiences that help prepare us for life.

Through Man 2 Man, Ms. Godbolt has introduced us to so many inspiring men who have shared their stories, taught us valuable lessons, and encouraged us to become better young men.

Man 2 Man has been more than just a program. It has given us opportunities to travel, serve our community, build leadership skills, meet positive role models, strengthen our brotherhood, and experience things many of us may not have had the chance to experience otherwise.

Ms. Godbolt has poured so much into us, and we do not want to see her leave, or see the Man 2 Man program leave our school.

We hope our voices are heard because we want Ms. Godbolt to remain at Creative Arts High School, and continue the work she started with Man 2 Man.

This is bigger than one person. It is about protecting a program that is making a positive difference in our lives.

✨ Walking in the Footsteps of Greatness ✨

Man 2 Man participants visited the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the National Mall, during our trip to Washington, D.C.

Standing before this powerful memorial reminded us of Dr. King’s unwavering commitment to justice, equality, service, and the importance of using our voices to create positive change.

“Everybody can be great because everybody can serve.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

May our young men continue to serve their communities, lead with integrity, and make a lasting impact wherever life takes them. #man2man #washingtondc #nationalmall #martinlutherkingjr taken in Martin Luther King Jr, National Monument...Washington DC by @man2man_program

History came alive for our Man 2 Man participants at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Traveling through time in the museum’s exhibits gave our young men a deeper appreciation for the resilience and achievements of African Americans.

The Culture Galleries, celebrating African American creativity through art, music, literature, fashion, and innovation, were a favorite among our participants. The Culture Galleries
reminded our young men that their stories, talents, and contributions continue to shape the world we live in.

Earlier this month, Man 2 Man participants had the opportunity to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

We explored powerful exhibits that highlighted the resilience, achievements, and contributions of African Americans throughout history.

This experience encouraged meaningful conversations, and a greater appreciation for the sacrifices and triumphs of those who came before us. #man2man #washington #dc #africanamerican #museum by @man2man_program
