Anything important enough you will find a way

respectfully, stop asking artists, creators, and educators to discount the knowledge and skills they spent years and thousands of dollars building.

You’re not just paying for our time. You’re paying for everything it took us to become that good.

asking someone to devalue their work so you can afford it is disrespectful. taken in MANA Collaborative Beauty Studio + Training Center by @manacollaborative

Eight years ago, my schedule looked nothing like this.

I worked long days, late nights, weekends, pretty much whenever the opportunity was there.

Because that’s the part of entrepreneurship people don’t always see.

There’s a lot of risk. A lot of sacrifice. And absolutely no guarantee that any of it is going to pay off.

I’ve spent the last 13 years building my business and putting in countless hours to eventually have something that became more valuable to me than money

control of my time.

Not so I could work less, but so I could decide what deserved more of me.

And for me, that’s my kids.

These years are fleeting, and I never want to look back and realize I was so busy building a business that I missed the life I was building it for.

The schedule I have today took 13 years to create, and I don’t take a single bit of it for granted.

I get to be a present mom AND still do work that I genuinely love. taken in MANA Collaborative Beauty Studio + Training Center by @manacollaborative

Most entrepreneurs are doing things behind the scenes that you never see.
.
I’ve been spending the last five months in 4 hour strategy and branding sessions. I have surrounded myself with a team that is going to take my vision and dreams to the next level..
.
It is not always pretty. Sometimes it’s 7 AM strategy calls. Sometimes it’s working on my days off. Most times it’s building alongside others that have a genius that I do not.
