April in Panna Tiger Reserve is a different kind of wilderness… 🐅 A time when the forest feels alive at every turn, and a tiger can appear anywhere, anytime. We were on a boat safari, quietly drifting along the Ken River, taking in the beauty of the jungle. Everything seemed calm… until suddenly, from the Jamun trees along the riverbank, she emerged. Seeta. 🐅 One moment, there was only the silence of the river and the rustling leaves. The next, a tigress stepped out of the shadows and into our world. A magical encounter on the banks of the Ken — one of those moments that makes you realise why Panna never disappoints. 🌿✨ SHOT ON CANON R5 MARK II LENS 200-800. #TigerSighting #tiger #ankitkankanesafaris #roarandexplorebyrajshah #wildlifephotography by @manan.mukherjee
It was an early morning safari in the legendary Tala Zone of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. 🐅🌿 The jungle was slowly waking up when suddenly we got the news— “BAJRANG has been sighted!” Without wasting a second, we rushed towards the location. The excitement was unreal. And then… there he was. BAJRANG — the massive male of Bandhavgarh. 👑🐅 He wasn’t resting. He wasn’t casually walking through his territory. He was on the hunt… moving in for a kill. Watching a tiger of that size moving with such focus, power and confidence was something else entirely. And then came THE SHOT. 📸🔥 What a frame. What a tiger. What an absolute beast. Standing there and witnessing this giant in hunting mode was pure adrenaline. Some sightings are beautiful. Some are unforgettable. And then there are sightings of BAJRANG. 👑 📍 Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve 🌿 Tala Zone 🌅 Morning Safari 📸 Roar and Explore by Raj Shah #Bandhavgarh #Bajrang #TalaZone #tiger by @manan.mukherjee
It was a morning safari in Bandhavgarh’s Tala Zone. As the clock moved on, we were slowly heading towards the exit—empty-handed, with not a single tiger sighting to carry back with us. We thought the jungle had decided to keep its secrets that morning. But the jungle always has the final word. Just when we were about to leave, the silence suddenly broke… and there he was. Bajrang.🐯🐯 The massive male. 🐅🐅 The king of the jungle.👑👑 He emerged almost out of nowhere, standing before us with that unmistakable presence. For a few moments, everything else disappeared—the vehicle, the forest, the morning… there was only Bajrang. What began as a morning with nothing… ended with a sighting etched into memory forever. Sometimes, the best sightings are the ones you never see coming. 🐅🌿 SHOT ON - CANON R5 MARKII LENS 70-200 #tiger #elusivetiger #wildlifephotography #canonwildlifephotography #roarandexplorebyrajshah by @manan.mukherjee
🌿 A Glimpse of a Future Queen | Sidhbaba, Bandhavgarh 🐅 The evening light was fading, and the jungle was slowly settling into silence… when a young figure emerged from the shadows. There she was — Sidhbaba, the gorgeous sub-adult female of Bandhavgarh National Park. With every confident step and that piercing gaze, she carried the quiet promise of a future queen. For a few magical moments, she walked through the forest completely at ease, giving us a beautiful glimpse into the life of a young tiger growing up in one of India’s most legendary jungles. No roar. No drama. Just the raw beauty of the wild unfolding right in front of us. 🐅🌿 📍 Bandhavgarh National Park 📸 Ankit Kankane Photography 🐾 Experience the Wild with Ankit Kankane Safaris Want to witness moments like this in the heart of India’s tiger country? My first ever encounter with a leopard _________________________ It was our last(morning) safari in Panna Tiger reserve, in the 'Hinouta' zone of the forest. Early in the morning, after our encounter with the male tiger P651, we were brimming with excitement and were wandering through the jungle. While returning to the main trail after stopping to hear light alarm calls of langur(delicacy for leopard) near a watering hole, we happened to be traversing elevated ground, and at the perpendicular junction of two roads, it was I who first spotted something big, creeping on the dimly lit track. It was too small for a tiger, and too low and long for a bear or chital. No sooner did I understand what I was, than I exclaimed that it was a leopard. The car came to a screeching halt, and the rest was a wonderful surprise encounter with one for whom I sighed, until then... ________________________ thank you: @manan.mukherjee ________________________ tags: #natgeoyourshot #manan_2209 #tigersofindia #discoverychannel #nikonindiaofficial #wildlifephotography #indianwildlifeofficial #indianwildlifephotography #natgeowildlife #clawsnwings #natgeomoments #wildlifeconservation #wildlifeonearth #wildlife_conservation_official #wildlifeshots #yourshotphotographer @featuring.wildlife #chasing_stripes #wildlifepics @inwawards #discoverindiamagazine #discoverwildlife #BBCWildlifePOTD #indianwildography #niffeature #canonindia_official #featured_wildlife @mptourism @canonindia_official @greenmarker_wildlife #greenmarkerwildlife @sanctuaryasia#sanctuaryasia by @manan.mukherjee
BANDHAVGARH NEVER DISAPPOINTS 🐅🌿 It was the beginning of the monsoon season, and the forest of Bandhavgarh was turning beautifully green. We had just entered the Khitauli Zone when we spotted fresh tiger pugmarks on the track. But these weren’t the tracks of just one tiger—there were multiple pugmarks. They were fresh. Very fresh. We knew we were close… probably just five minutes behind them. The excitement inside the gypsy was building as we slowly followed the tracks, wondering what was waiting for us ahead. And then, suddenly… There they were. MAHAMANBACHI SUB ADULTS MALE CUBS. They emerged right in front of our gypsy. For a few seconds, everything stopped—the conversations, the cameras, even our thoughts. All that remained was the sight of these magnificent tigers walking through their kingdom. That’s the magic of the wild. You follow the signs, trust the jungle… and sometimes, it gives you a moment you’ll remember forever. Bandhavgarh never disappoints. 🐯❤️ #tiger #roarandexplorebyrajshah #ankitkankanesafaris #wildlifephotography #indianforestofficial by @manan.mukherjee
When the Forest Finally Revealed Her 🐅 The evening sun was slowly fading over Tala Zone, Bandhavgarh. For almost two hours, we waited in silence—watching, listening, hoping. And then, from the depths of the forest, the Sidbaba female sub-adult appeared. She walked beside our Gypsy, unhurried and completely at ease, as if the forest belonged to her—and for those moments, it truly did. For nearly two unforgettable hours, she stayed with us, turning an ordinary evening safari into a memory etched forever in our hearts. Two hours. One tiger. One wild, unforgettable evening. Thanks to @ankit.kankane.safaris for organising our such amazing safaris and for these beautiful shot. Sometimes, the forest makes you wait… only to give you a moment worth remembering forever. 🌿🐅 Tala Zone | Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve | Evening Safari #TigerSafari #wildlifephotography #canonwildlifephotography #RoarAndExplorebyrajshah #ankitkankanesafaris by @manan.mukherjee

🐯PANNA TIGER RESERVE NEVER DISAPPOINTS.🐯 It was the month of April in Panna Tiger Reserve. The summer had begun to paint the forest in warm golden shades, and we were hoping for a special sighting. But what Panna gave us that day was something even better — a mother and daughter together. Walking alongside her mother was P-141, the beautiful sub-adult female — young, fearless and bursting with energy. While the mother carried the calm confidence of an experienced queen, P-141 was completely different. She was restless, curious and incredibly active. Every movement had attitude. Every glance carried intensity. She looked like a young, angry princess of Panna — fierce, bold and already showing signs of the tigress she was destined to become. Watching the two together was fascinating — the calmness of a queen beside the fire of a princess. For those few moments, it wasn’t just a tiger sighting. It felt like we were watching one generation of Panna’s royalty walking beside the next. Mother & Daughter. The Queen & Her Princess. One unforgettable April morning in the wild. 🐅 I am extremely thankful to @ankit.kankane.safaris for all the safari arrangements and with his guidance these shot was taken. Once again thank you Ankit bhai. by @manan.mukherjee
An unforgettable afternoon safari at Panna Tiger Reserve! 🐅🌿 It was the month of April, and within just five minutes of entering the safari, we were blessed with an incredible sighting of the beautiful P-151 female cub. She came unbelievably close—hardly 10 feet away from us—giving us a breathtaking view. What we thought would be a quick encounter turned into an extraordinary two-hour sighting. Moments like these are what make the wild so addictive. Two hours with this beautiful tigress, up close in her natural habitat—a memory from Panna that will stay with me forever. 📸🐯 #tiger #ankitkankanesafaris #wildlifephotography #canonr5markⅱ #pannatigerreserve by @manan.mukherjee
Sun-kissed striped beauty ___________________ The Sun shone, piercing through shade of the Spring Forest, but what shone brighter was its body. It almost felt like the happiness of one's life that shines brightly, even in the darkest of times. Getting to spend time with this lovely sub-adult cub of Panna's star, P151 was super memorable!❤️ Cub of P151(sub adult) Panna Tiger Reserve _____________________ thanks to: @manan.mukherjee #natgeoyourshot #manan_2209 #tigersofindia #discoverychannel #nikonindiaofficial #wildlifephotography #indianwildlifeofficial #indianwildlifephotography #natgeowildlife #clawsnwings #natgeomoments #wildlifeconservation #wildlifeonearth #wildlife_conservation_official #wildlifeshots #yourshotphotographer @featuring.wildlife #chasing_stripes #wildlifepics @inwawards #discoverindiamagazine #discoverwildlife #BBCWildlifePOTD #indianwildography #niffeature #canonindia_official #featured_wildlife @mptourism @canonindia_official @greenmarker_wildlife #greenmarkerwildlife @sanctuaryasia#sanctuaryasia by @manan.mukherjee
