Its been years since my first daughter @jade_thegemini graduated from all these milestones..i am soo lucky and blessed to be able to experience the feelings of happiness/proudness all over again as i did the first time feeling these emotions Yeeeeears ago..i am happy for-no more lunches to pack or breakfasts to get ready before she gets up…no more morning drop offs and waiting in my car to pick her up in the afternoons…no more band practices..for a while…although school is done for now..it will again start up again sometime in August…this coming year will come a new school and definitely new challenges for us..you see private school is all i was familiar with. I attended a Catholic Elementary School that started at kindergarten and you graduated as an 8th grader ready for high school. My firstborn also went to a a catholic private school her elementary/HS years..so yes both Jade and i stayed at the same school for elementary and middle school. This public school experience is all new!!! I am excited that Nichole will be able to grow in the public school system and so far we cant be more proud of her!!!! Congratulations again Nichole!! We love you! #publicschool vs #privateschool #graduate by @manangmare

Good morning Facebook family!!!I wanted to share with you the thrill of aging..the reality of life…as your hitting your golden years..or have been living it for a while…your body is NOT the same.

I am aware that there may be a few of you out there that have maybe went thru what i am dealing with now. Yes my friends..this is my flabby back. I woke up yesterday morning after a restful nights sleep from maybe downing Nyquil or the mental & emotional exhaustion from the past few days/weeks that have caused stress in my life lately that i started scratching at my left side of my back.. at first i thought it was a mosquito bite and started cursing at myself for not getting rid of it since i got bit on my ankle from a mosquito last week. 😞 but as i was scratching, i noticed the rash was multiplying..and so i jumped out of bed and went into the bathroom to make sure it wasnt what i thought it was..SHINGLES!

For those of you familiar with shingles..it a known as the adult chicken pox. And you could get “chicken pox” again later on in life which is known as Shingles even if you have had the chicken pox when you were younger.

I Picked Nichole up from school and headed to see my doctor who told me that it is a viral infection but not shingles, as the rash seemed to spread beyond the midback to my right back side. She still prescribed me some wonderful anti-viral medication Acyclovir (5 times a day for 7 days) and this morning after taking my 2nd dose, the rash has not multiplied or spread. But the itchiness is somewhat felt.

Just want you all to know that stress plays a huge part in the shingles becoming active..so take time to rest and destress!!! You owe that to yourself!!!
