My Philippine tour is almost coming to an end, filled with so many beautiful memories, thoughts, realisations, and even a life-changing injury.

In my last post, I mentioned that I wanted to share my thoughts on what love means to me.

“To me, love means seeing both the beautiful and imperfect sides of someone.

It means not trying to change them into your ideal version of who they should be, but choosing to truly understand and appreciate them as a whole person.

And even after seeing all of that, choosing to stay, to understand, and to keep walking through life together.

I believe love isn’t about possession or perfection. It’s about seeing someone deeply, accepting them for who they are, and continuing to choose them.”

And perhaps, just as importantly, learning how to nurture and protect that love.

taken in Manila, Philippines by @manatodeleon

Friday, 6 November. 23:00

Local support to be announced.

See you on the floor.

Korean artist machìna, based between Tokyo and Berlin, creates deeply personal electronic music designed for the collective energy of the dance floor. Her distinctive live performances blend modular improvisation, analogue systems, technology and precise vocals shaped by her background as a K-Pop artist. A regular performer at MUTEK Japan, she has also performed at MUTEK Montreal and Berghain’s Halle, and toured internationally with Richie Hawtin on the 2023 From Our Minds tour. Her releases have gained widespread attention, including “Respect” in a Miu Miu campaign and “choom” in Nike’s 2024 Campus campaign. Collaborations with Prada, Miu Miu, Nike, Red Bull Music, Vans and Shiseido reflect her unique connection between music, fashion and art. Posting this a few days after getting injured. I’m okay — I just need surgery, and I’ll be back stronger 💪

I’ve had a lot of time lying in bed and thinking about life, so I just wanted to share a little thought.

“Life is beautiful, messy, and complicated. Sometimes it doesn’t look the way you thought it was supposed to, and that’s okay. Keep going, and always be brave.”

For my next post, I want to share some thoughts about “love.” I don’t think there’s ever one right answer to what love is, but I’d like to share how I see it now 👌

September was one of the best times of my life.

@shin.nosuke0117 I love music. That’s it.

@manatodeleon is the boss of @tokyolovehotel_translate

Born out of Melbourne’s underground scene around 2018, Tokyo Love Hotel has grown into something much bigger than a party.

At its core is a love for deep, hypnotic and groove-driven music — but what makes it special is the connection it creates between people, artists and scenes across Japan and Australia.

From intimate club nights and long-form sessions to bringing the Rainbow Disco Club spirit to Melbourne, Manato and the Tokyo Love Hotel crew have been quietly building a bridge between two music cultures that feel very different, yet somehow speak the same language.

No borders. No genre rules. Just good music and the people who live for it.
