In 2010 I walked down Cedar Springs for the first time as a boy who had just moved from Mexico and had never been allowed to be fully himself in public.

Dallas Pride on the @striponcs changed something in me that day that has never changed back.

16 years later I get to DJ the first ever festival on that same street. @oaklawnlive. The Dallas in Pride stage. Tonight September 19th, 6–7PM.

I don’t take that lightly. Not even a little bit.

If you’ve ever found yourself on Cedar Springs and felt that thing, that feeling of finally belonging, come find me on the stage. This set is for you.

House of Manchic. Dallas in Pride Stage. 6–7PM. See you there. 💖🪩🌈

When I dreamed about playing my first Pride festival set, I didn’t expected THIS 🥹

My first Pride festival gig at the @striponcs could not have gone better.🌈🕺🪩

My friends showed up and showed OUT. They had such a great vibe that strangers started to join the party. And suddenly, I was looking out at a dance floor full of people who were giving me the exact energy I hoped to create.

And in that moment, I realized that I’ve finally found my place as a DJ.

Thank you to @PrideinDallas for trusting me with the decks, and to Eric Way for seeing the vision and giving me the opportunity to bring it to life.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want to play music for you. I want you to feel the same joy I feel when I’m playing it.

Were you there? What moment from the set do you remember most? Let me know in the comments

What even is life right now? Because what do you mean I had the only one @aprilcarrion performing at @summerhouse.party 🤩

This year I’ve been putting my heart, soul and money into @houseofmanchic and it seems is finally paying off. People are noticing what I’m building and they’re wanting to be part of it.

Shoutout to @txlatinopride and especially @jacobreyesdfw prima! Thank you for believing in my vision.

Especial thanks to all my friends who constantly show up for my gigs. 🥹 your support means the world.

Stay tuned because I have some very exciting news to share soon! In the meantime, make sure to follow #HouseofManchic for all updates! taken in Dive In Swim Club by @manchic

Couldn’t find a queer space that played house music in Dallas, so I created @summerhouse.party

And every month you keep showing up and proving that there’s a need for these type of queer events: rooted in house music and community.

Thanks to my presenting sponsor @helpcentertx with their help we got to enjoy two incredible performances from @oliviaobscene69 & @lolaluvbuggg and the amazing @djlarrydavis on the decks.

Shout out to @marekrichard for providing the looks for my pool boys and myself. Aren’t they 🔥?

We’re coming back to @diveindallas on September 4th for a very special edition in partnership with @txlatinopride - so stay tuned for details!

In the meantime, send this reel to your queer friends who love house music.

Things nobody told me I would have to do as a DJ.

No. 75: Walking around shirtless in the Dallas gayborhood holding a sign to promote my party that says:

“I’m a DJ. Come to my queer pool party. August 13th, 6:00pm. Lee Harvey’s Dive In. Tickets: www.summerhouse.gay”

Anyway come to @summerhouse.party! Pool, house music, queer joy!

Featuring @djlarrydavis, @houseofmanchic, @oliviaobscene69 and @lolaluvbuggg! Presenting sponsor @helpcentertx at @diveindallas

Send this to a friend that likes house music!

The face you make when everything you’ve been working for in the past year starts falling into place! Thanks so much for coming to celebrate @summerhouse.party #OneYearUnderTheSun

We started this little poolside Kiki as a way to gather and listen to house music and you guys turned into an incredible community of queer folks and allies all coming together to have fun!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
