We caught @electricbleula on the 3rd day of a their soft open and from our perspective they’re ready to rip the bandaid off. Thoughtful, seasonal menu executed with finesse by Chef Craig Hopson and his staff. Disco ball in the bathroom, abundant vibes at the counter. @flannerybeef on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit. #marvista #losangeles #losangeleseats #laeats #eatlocal taken in Mar Vista by @mancookgood

Hey remember when instagram was pictures and we liked it and they’d show you pictures that your friends and favorite accounts posted? Anyways here’s a nice picture of one of my favorite dishes to eat and make. Been awhile since I’ve made it or shared to anything but stories 😘 #mussels #musselsandfries #moulefrites taken in Los Angeles, California by @mancookgood

When @thegordinier stops for noodles in your neighborhood you get yourself up to the noodle bar asap. Perfectly executed Agedashi Tofu, lightly crisp, creamy inside, delicate broth. The seared Koji salmon was sublime and the Duck soba noodle with warm broth hit the spot on this California chilly night. Can’t wait to go back. #soba #noodles #marvista #losangeles #losangelesfood #laeats #sendnoods by @mancookgood

Late summer menu for a private dinner. Started with perfectly ripe August fruits, second course was a big green salad and salted cucumbers. Roasted tomato and baked halloumi was served with bread for smearing and dipping. Lemon salmon and yogurt marinaded chicken were surrounded by dips and sauces to be wrapped up and wiped clean with lavash bread. Moscow mules for dessert. Available for dinner parties in LA! #summerfood #dinner #dinnerparty #catering #malibu #losangeles #roadshow #summermenu #august taken in Malibu, California by @mancookgood

Chicken lule wrap, hummus and tabouli. I’ve had Sam’s eatery on my radar for a long time. You choose your meats from the cooler and the grill them outside over coals. Hummus has lots of tahini in it, very creamy. The tabouli is lovely, has what tastes like a vinaigrette instead of lemon. Meat of course is light and loaded with flavor. So happy to have finally made it here. I’ll be back. #armenian #armenianfood #losangelesfood #laeats #losangeles #lule #kabobs #hummus taken in North Hollywood, California by @mancookgood

Sometimes, most of the time, I cook because we have to eat. We’re rushing around, low blood sugar, need to start bed time, gotta get something on the table. Meals like this get that creative spark going. Fancy toast two ways, soy and ginger marinated pork shoulder, simple greens with vinaigrette. I love cooking food in their season and some times just want to make fancy toast every day.

Hassleback sweet potato gratin, inspired by @audra_thebakerchick and @kenjilopezalt

Made nightshade allergy friendly so everyone at dinner could eat it, this dish had it all. Creamy, sweet potatoes, crispy edges and chewy bits all blended with savory herbs and cheeses to knock our socks off. Keep an eye out for a quick reel with the process.
