Oh mama.. I miss your voice, I miss your hugs, I miss calling you with the tea, as much as I hated having to take you to the doctor, or seeing you at the hospital, I selfishly miss those car rides. I miss your hot chocolate pudding in ā€œpudding glassesā€ aka martini glasses, your angelic singing voice, watching you do your nails, and dotting that beauty mark on your face making it a little darker, teasing that hairā€¦ I can go on and on about you. Going through some of the most rewarding times as a mom myself without you is so tough! I think of how proud you are of my Ally! Emmalee, too! I pray they both know your love for them, even though you didnā€™t always have the opportunity to show it. Going through one of the toughest times medically in my life without you was so hard too. But one thing you taught me was how to be tough! I sometimes wonder how you made being the rock, the peacemaker, the forgiver, the everything; look so easy, but you did! I know you are cheering us on from up there in heavens paradise! Knowing that you arenā€™t hurting, are whole and brand new, are smiling that beautiful smile in heaven makes me smile! You deserve to be happy! Iā€™m sorry for all of the Motherā€™s days that I missed putting my arms around you while I had the chance. I pray you always know how much I love you and how getting older makes me admire you more and more! I love you mama! Happy Motherā€™s Day in heaven! by @manda_mac31

My beautiful girl got the call yesterday that she has been accepted into nursing school this Fall! She has worked so hard and has put in a lot of time to achieve this goal, as well as working at least 3 days a week! Iā€™m so proud of you, Ally! There arenā€™t enough words to describe how proud you make me! Keep pushing, keep on keeping God first, and it will pay off in the end! This one is a work in progress and nothing like I planned.. there is a long story to it that Iā€™ll spare, but I wanted to make a memorial Christmas Tree to reflect on the loved ones Iā€™ve lost. This idea came to me this year when I lost my mama. I wanted her to be remembered in my home at Christmas in a special way. I didnā€™t plan for these ornaments to go on this ā€œCharlie Brown treeā€, but as Iā€™m learning everything doesnā€™t go as I plan it. Honestly, the thought of Charlie Browns Christmas made me think of mama a little more and smile as we watched that when I was a child. Tonight, although itā€™s breaks my heart to have this memorial tree, I know mama would love it. Special thank you to @bmikkelle for these ornaments! You did a great job! Also, this is one of my favorite Christmas songs and my family used to sing this when I was little all of the time! I can see my mama harmonizing with all of heart!
