POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
i’ve used my platform on here to speak about mental health and the role it’s played in my life but never to show the work God has done in my life and to spread the Gospel. social media can be a blessing and a curse depending on how it’s used and such. i deleted all socials for a bit since it was just a distraction in my spiritual life. but while receiving updates from my friends in Thailand, my heart has been troubled. how can i start with the people that are right in front of me? well here i am to tell my story. not to transform your life, but hopefully just to plant a seed. ->>

i grew up in the church but ended up just going my own way throughout middle & high school. i never lost sight of God but i was just so caught up in the world and my own ways that i thought i could go through life on my own. that was not the case. middle school was one of the worst times of my life. never finding a group, a sport, or a place to fit in. i got made fun of, was isolated, and was surrounded by people that were never truly my friends, to the point that i wanted to take my life when i was freshly 14. no one knew. i thought and thought about it but never acted it out. come freshman year in high school, my papa passed away. the first “big” death i’d ever experienced. i became depressed, weak, struggle with anxiety, developed and eating disorder, then fell into a cycle that never allowed me to feel human. i found my identity in sports and academics. those were the only two things holding me together. but it wasn’t enough. i committed to play in college my senior year…yay!! but it still wasn’t enough. September 27th, a childhood friend ended up taking his own life. boom. all the struggle i’d bottled up until that point just came crashing out. i broke down in to tears and and begged my parents that i needed help. professional help. i ended up getting medicated but guess what. it still wasn’t enough. freshman year in college was one of the worst times in my life. i started to wonder if other people’s lives would look better without me living. i was surrounded with people who made my life miserable and drowned out all the noise with alcohol by @mandaa.6

what a JOY it is to serve and reach the next generation through competitor’s camp!
Jesus says in John 19:30, “It is finished”. FCA’s theme this year was proven. this verse is proof that the work and the job is already done. the debt is already paid. the death on the cross was proof of the love Jesus had and continues to have for us, choosing us over and over again. we no longer have to prove ourselves worthy, but just accept Jesus into our life, handing him the wheel. watching hundreds of student-athletes surrender their life to Christ, watching a revival happen in real time, is one of the greatest experiences i’ve been able to be a part of. i was just a vessel spreading the gospel but the Lord finished the work. this week was as much a learning experience for me as it was for the campers. thank God for this opportunity he handed me. fellowship & discipleship will never fail to refresh me daily!
what i left with: what will you do with God’s calling? will you let him in 100% or will you continue to put Him on hold, denying the greatest freedom that can change your life? taken in Liberty University by @mandaa.6

~ Alpha 2026 ~
i celebrated my 22nd birthday with 100+ people, let my crazy personality shine, and created countless friendships and memories.
most importantly we spent 19 days praising our glorious Jesus. i experienced raw, genuine emotions that i haven’t felt in a long long time and truly experienced what a faithful community looks like. i broke down in tears by the work God has done in my life and how much he has changed my heart along with the pure joy of experiencing 100+ college students worshiping the one almighty name together all under one roof. it was a pleasure to get to know all these different testimonies from different backgrounds and just how similar we are despite being separated by where we attend college or where we live. words can’t express how much this trip has shaped me and meant to me but long story short, alpha was the best and most encouraging 3 weeks to start the summer 🩵† #meowmeow by @mandaa.6

18 years later and it feels like i just had opening day for tball. it was all too much and all too little at the same time. the day came that i’d felt was forever away. one major surgery, multiple injuries, and multiple health problems later, i finally hung my cleats.
thank you to my parents for the endless support and endless sacrifices. thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey, big or small. thank you to Courtney for keeping my body in one piece and for keeping me sane. thank you to the people that have been with me through thick and thin.
most importantly thank you to the Lord. i wouldn’t be here without His grace and willingness to put me where He needs me. i’m so thankful He allowed me to play this sport for so long. i’m also so thankful He gave me the opportunity and confidence to use this platform to share my faith. i’m so thankful He healed me and gave me the strength i needed to come back from surgery and the mental strength to push through unhealthy environments.
this sport has shaped me in countless ways. i owe it to this sport for finding my passion in mental health. i’m forever indebted to you, softball. lessons were learned, plans changed, but a lifetime of memories and friends were made that i’ll never forget. RCSB, you have been so special to me. Thank you for giving me my best friends. thank you for everything.
#24 signing out. 💛

first, thank you to @carolyntakesphotos for capturing this bittersweet moment for me, I’m SO blessed that God crossed our paths.
My journey at Randolph has been nothing short of interesting. To start off, I never wanted to go here. It was too close to home. I hated the life I had at my other school and was just focused on somewhere I could play softball. I transferred in my sophomore year just wanting to play and get on with my life. God had other plans. I’ve been in both the worst mental spots in my life and also having the most memorable times here. I found my voice, being able to stand my ground not just for myself, but others. I think that wouldn’t have been possible without randolph. I’ve met some of my best friends here and built some of the most meaningful relationships in my 3 years here. I never would’ve thought the traditions RC holds would make an impact in my life, but here I am.
When I transferred in, I was very unsteady in my faith and relationship with God. I was in the worst mental spots i’d ever experienced and was ready to quit my sport and put a hold on my whole life. I wasn’t seeking God, i was seeking all the wrong things. Then Campus Outreach came in to my life. I didn’t feel like i belonged because i was so unstable. With meeting the right people, i was able to rekindle my faith and renew my relationship with Christ. I will give a special shoutout to @s.belle_davis and the rest of my CO group for pushing me and being the community they’ve been, allowing me to become the person I’ve become by truly knowing what it means to live like Jesus. God has saved my life time after time and has never let me drown in the chaos the our earthly life causes. He’s SO patient and SO gentle when it comes to our relationship with him. For that I’m eternally grateful. It been far from easy, but I’m leaving on fire for God, confident in knowing that whatever uncertainty may come my way, the Lord already has a plan.
R(MW)C, thank you. OSU, I’m ready for you.
Remember to slow down, live a little and get out of your comfort zone. 🌼✨ taken in RMWC by @mandaa.6
