![From the red line stations to the stage 🚂✨
On Friday, October 16, the Red Line Jazz Festival took the Red Line Jazz Project from the platform to the stage of the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. Fareed Haque, the Windy City Ramblers, CIO, Butter Chicken Brass Band, the AACM, and the Mandala Dance Ensemble shared one stage. It was a night of trans-cultural jazz that felt like Chicago itself.
To everyone who joined us: thank you for being part of it. Swipe through for some of our favorite moments.
Thank you to our wonderful artists and Fareed Haque, our artist in residence for curating such a beautiful show and to Sigma Satabdhi for leading such profound choreography.
[The Red Line Jazz Festival at the Harris Theater, the culminating event of the Red Line Jazz Project, has been made possible through the generous support of the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, Elevated Chicago, the MacArthur Foundation, and the Chicago Transit Authority. Additional support has been provided by Chawla Associates, Vinayak Hospitality, Hoogendoorn & Talbot, Sunita & Rohit Tandon, J & Harpreet Dutt, and Mrs. Paragi and Dr. Umang Patel. We are especially grateful to Shalini and Mohan Sawhney for their continued and steadfast support.]

![On Thursday, October 1, the 79th anniversary of the CTA, we wrapped our final free Red Line Jazz Project performance at 95th/Dan Ryan with the Windy City Ramblers.
It was a beautiful time together: commuters, neighbors, and musicians sharing the music right where the everyday rhythm of Chicago life happens. What a way to close out five months of live jazz along the Red Line, from Rogers Park to Roseland. 🚇
Next, the entire journey will come together for one magical night at Harris Theater. Join us on October 16th at 7:30 PM at Harris Theater for the Red Line Jazz Festival.
Tickets are now 50% off (excluding VIP) with code RLJ50
