this art is something I was scared of for so many years… yet here we are 😅. I truly can’t thank @wtferret // @cilantrofuego enough - the training I have done with him over the last couple of weeks has pushed me leaps and bounds further than I ever thought possible 🥹🙏🔥
these clips are from a 4 hour intensive he hosted at @xpressionstudiodenver denver last week!
I got my spin down!! did a blow from a torch thrown into the air, my double short blows are getting cleaner, my sustains are getting longer, and I even got my parachute!!! but totally forgot to relight it 🤣 so @wtferret stepped in for a quick partner jelly and relight ❤️‍🔥

in case you all were wondering - this mama’s still got it 😉🔥

feels too perfect posting my first fire eating video in years on this Mother’s Day ❤️ a sweet reminder to myself and all of the other mamas out there that being a mom does not define who you are. I give the warmest cuddles, make bath time fun, sing nursery rhymes, cook cozy meals… but I also dance like no one’s watching, push to create and move even when I’m exhausted, and fiercely protect what fills my cup so that I can overflow into my family’s. being a mom is the most beautiful sacrifice and is constantly pushing me to adapt and learn. I love being a mom so much, more than anything else in this world. it just makes all of the other successes in life that much sweeter 🥹

shoutout to bestie @ev.creatrix for wanting to take this video. we just had a full day at the gym, no makeup on, flowing together for the first time in way too long. this was never taken with the intention of posting, but I feel like that makes this that much more special. the break I took from fire eating while pregnant and breastfeeding felt like an eternity, but once I lit my wicks it was like no time had passed ❤️‍🔥

still in disbelief that our baby is One 😩 I feel like I just had her… yet everyone says time just moves faster and faster as your children get older. I can barely believe it.. an entire year with you, Harper Lee!! You are growing into the most beautiful and kind little girl. You are observant, goofy, smart, and a lover of music, books, and dancing. Although it’s only been one year, I can barely remember life before you were in it. Feels like everything I have done, everyone I have met, every path I’ve taken has lead me to you. I love you so so so much. Never stop shining bright babygirl. 2024 - the year you made me a mom. From the moment you entered this world, everything changed. My purpose in life, my work, my passions, everything is for you now… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for teaching me so many valuable lessons. Even in the moments when I’m tired and I just want to give up, I keep on going. You’ve showed me that I’m capable of anything. Being your mama is the greatest gift and the best responsibility. Watching you grow this past year has been nothing short of magic. You amaze me and your daddy every day with something new you’ve discovered. It’s crazy that tomorrow you turn 9 months, marking the end of 2024 together, and in 3 more short months you will be One. It feels like just yesterday we were going to the hospital to deliver you earthside. What a wild ride it’s been having you here. Grateful is an understatement.
