✨Chrysion✨

Dramatic & masculine - this piece has been a welcome departure for me! I painted it for a friend as part of a community trade - he is a big & burly horseman & he loves the color gold! 🤗

The brilliant gold paint is handmade using different acrylic mediums & pure, finely milled metallic pigment (copper & brass). And.... I just HAD to paint a mini for one of my many Buddha statues! 💫

Just had to do another piece with this awesome palette! ✨💛💚🩵💙✨
Finished some time ago but hadn't gotten around to a post. 20 inch/50 cm.

Tight design elements & lots of non-mirror embellishments all done by hand. 💫Gloosh💫 & mica powders from @desertedbliss made for wonderful glimmer & texture that I now incorporate into each piece!

Custom palette crafted from @decoart

I painted several cards for loved ones this summer with my handmade watercolours. This one was for my Father in Law on Father's Day! 🌊⛵🌊 It's been wonderful to get back into painting on paper after a 30 year hiatus. 🤔

🔥 Wildfire Season🔥 It's not just a regional phenomenon anymore. It's a global one.

🔸Watching so many humans & animals suffer & be forced from the places they love...
🔸Watching others put their own lives on the line fighting ro save the land & it's inhabitants...
🔸Watching the world burn.

It is gut wrenching, terrifying & deeply humbling.

And.
💫We are all in this together💫

The internationalization of wildfire response has been incredible to witness.

The beauty of humanity remains alive in these turbulent & troubling times.

Thank you to all the amazing individuals serving to save the places we call home.

Stay safe everyone. 🤍

💫ChromaCards Unboxing!💫

The incredible @marisa.alyse.colorstudio has outdone herself with this AMAZING product! I am officially in love. 🩵

100% handmade from start to finish, with every possible detail considered, Marisa's ChromaCards solve a series of problems we have as mandala artists when it comes to selecting the right special effects paint for our pieces:

❌ Decision Fatigue/Hassle: Too many paints to choose from & pull out of those drawers! 🙋‍♀️
❌ Extended Dry Times: Shake/swatch/WAIIIT 🤬
❌ Shade Variation: Annoying curing-related colour alterations 😵‍💫 & changes in varied lighting ☀️

✨ChromaCards✨ are gorgeous AND they help you make the perfect custom paint selections as simple as can be:

✅ Easy-to-Use: Cue-card format on a transparent background with mounting hangers making colour selection a breeze 🎨
✅ 100% Portable: Quick to grab & match to your your palette/prepped board.
- Move into different lighting conditions to optimize selection.
- Bring to your fave art store to ensure your palette is perfectly coordinated.
✅ Efficient: Save time (& paint)! No need to swatch a dozen options AND wait for them to dry, wasting precious hours & product! ⏰
✅ Cost Saving: Swatch multiple paint brands so you can try before you buy! 💰

Join me for my next video where I will use ChromaCards for my next project! 🫶
