One of my favorite pictures with Buddy Guy

When I worked for Zomba/Jive, we had Buddy Guy on the Silvertone Label. I adore him musically and admire his deep wisdom and positive perseverance. I had the great honor of putting together his album release parties for both his ‘Blues Singer’ and ‘Sweet Tea’ albums. Both are genius works.

🥵 No matter that it hit 110 degrees today on the Las Vegas Strip. Style counts for everything. Just ask Heather Anne Lomax, who showed up in a red velvet coat and other gorgeous finery to her on-air interview at KLAS-TV’s mid-afternoon show “Las Vegas Now.” 🎙️ The powerhouse vocalist + musician was there to talk up her headline show this Friday night at The Space, marking her Vegas debut show. Her new album comes out the same day via Blackbird Record Label. It’s titled WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE—an uplifting blast of rock, soul, and blues inspired by classic sounds. @heatherannelomax @lvnowtv @blackbirdrecordlabel @mandamosher @thespacelv @sroprla taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @mandamosher

It’s so fun to see The Dink charting No. 1 on Apple TV. I had the honor of supporting music supervisor Janet Lopez at AGAVE, Music & Media with musician casting for the scene at The Cowboy Palace. Keeping things authentic is the main goal. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work for Encompass Music Partners which always leads to the most interesting and challenging projects.

The casted band consists of local rock star musicians and friends Eli Wulfmeier (electric guitar), Adam Arcos (electric bass), Simon Runge (drums), and the wonderful George Doering on banjo.

Keep an eye out for the scene when watching 👀

A message for change ✨

Performed by Manda Mosher, Tawny Ellis, Pi Jacobs, Heather Lomax, Deb Morrison, Amilia K. Spicer) “Better Way” @thewildwestmusic

Written by: Manda Mosher, Heather Lomax, Deb Morrison

BETTER WAY
Fighting through the troubles in my mind
They’ve been there from beginning of time
If you wanna love it’s gonna hurt
If you want change it’s gonna be work
We all come from a different place
Born with love, born without hate
I can change how I see you
You can change how you see me too
Hoping tomorrow tomorrow will bring
Bring us a better way
Hoping tomorrow tomorrow will bring
Bring us a better way
Bring us a better way
Love your neighbor as yourself
Leave your hatred on the shelf
If you wanna love the truth’s is gonna hurt
If you want a change it’s gonna take work
We may come from a different place
But we’re born with love, born without hate
Puttin’ myself in your shoes
Count on me to stand by you
Hoping tomorrow tomorrow will bring
Bring us a better way
Hoping tomorrow tomorrow will bring
Bring us a better way
Bring us a better way
Weary from fightin’ the time has come
To put down your swords, put down your guns
Side with love for all its worth
If your gonna change it’s gonna take work
Even though we’re from a different place
We’re born with love, born without hate
I’ll walk with you if you walk with me
For every man’s right to be free
We are we are we are…the change
We are we are we are…the change
We are we are we are…the change taken in Los Angeles, California by @mandamosher

“Better Way” by The Wild West is on The Americana Radio Singles Chart going into it’s 3rd month, currently in the Top 100 ✨ Considering the company kept, it is an honor that the message is being embraced at this time.
