I’m the owner of Woke Up Like This, my little skincare studio in Downtown Auburn.

I specialize in customized facials and waterless beauty using hydroxytyrosol powered skincare. I love helping people fall back in love with their skin, but honestly, my favorite part of this job is the connection with people.

Some of my clients have been with me for years, and somewhere between facials, life updates, relationships, and lots of laughs, they’ve become friends. Those connections are what make me love what I do.

A few fun facts about me…

I’m happiest outside, whether that’s hiking, spending the day at the river or exploring somewhere new.

I love lifting weights, and I’ll probably try to convince you that lifting heavy won’t make you bulky.

I’m always down for a good yoga class.

If my friends suggest happy hour…I’m probably already on my way.

I believe confidence starts with feeling good in your own skin, not chasing perfection.

Around here you’ll find equal parts skincare, gym selfies, mountain adventures, the occasional reminder that Taco Bell won’t ruin your progress…and a whole lot of real life.

Yesterday was MAGIC. 🏔️✨

FINALLY hiked Castle Peak, made it to the highest point, earned myself a very necessary ice cold beer and finished the day with lunch on the docks at the lake.

Then stopped by my sister’s for a little visit before heading home.

Being on my home mountain just does something to my heart. Those little happy tingles every time. 💖

1,900 feet of elevation gain.

All the way to the tippy of that.

In the distance is Lake Tahoe. Donner is on the lower left.

The clouds looked amazing.

It was pretty windy up there!

A yummy icy beer at the Pub.

I was on these docks almost everyday in high school.

My skin has changed SO much since switching to waterless beauty, but one thing I’ll always tell my clients is that consistency matters.

Skincare is a lot like fitness, you can’t do one workout a month and expect everything to change. Your monthly facial is important, but what you do with your skin the other 29 days matters just as much.

Good products + consistency + regular treatments = where the magic happens.

I’ve fallen in love with hydroxytyrosol powered skincare and the whole waterless beauty philosophy, and my skin genuinely feels better because of it.

GRWM ✨ because sometimes doing my hair, putting on a little glowy makeup, and feeling like myself again is exactly what I need.

Olive Rose makeup makes my skin feel sooo good lightweight, glowy, and still looks like skin. Even on the harder days, a little getting ready moment helps. 🫶🏼.

When a client falls asleep during their facial… I know I’ve got the magic in me ✨🪄

Please don’t ever feel embarrassed if you doze off on my treatment table. There is absolutely no judgment here. Honestly, it’s one of the biggest compliments you can give me because it means I’ve created a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and completely relaxed.

Heading back to LA next month for our annual Oliveda convention, and this time I’m going with a little extra excitement!!!!

I set a goal to earn a spot at the meet and greet with the founder, and I did it! Seeing my name on the earners board is such a special feeling.
