I’ll be a vendor at the Show Yourself Market this December!

My third market ever and my BIGGEST market yet!

Here’s a little recap of most of the products that have been available at previous markets: lino prints, stickers, zines and more!
Because this is my biggest market so far, I am for sure working on expanding this list! So keep an eye on my page 😊

Quotes, and things that happened ❤️
Everyone was beyond sweet and wonderful to me! I am so grateful!
If you bought a print or a sticker, I would love a picture of my art in its new home! Is it on your wall? On your water bottle? ❤️
If you bought a zine: I would love to hear what you think! Do you now have feelings about that banana too? 🍌

Thank you again to @queerhoven for giving me this opportunity ❤️ taken in Dynamo by @manderijn_makes_art

I know I’m VERY late to the trend but I couldn’t help myself 😅

This video is very inspired by how Sunnyyclem did their version of this video (sadly I can’t tag them in this description but definitely check them out!)

This is just a quick little video I wanted to make before going deep into preparing for my biggest art market yet. Sometimes you just have to make something because you want to make it right?! by @manderijn_makes_art

I can’t choose!

What colour should Rabbit’s fluffy bunny slippers be?

Please let me know what you think in the comments ❤️ by @manderijn_makes_art

The poor guy never gets any rest 😅
He’s just trying to relax
And the cherry on top: he’s colour blind…!

Now how will I EVER KNOW WHICH COLOUR THOSE SLIPPERS SHOULD BE?!!???

I have my third and biggest art market yet (@showyourselfmarket ) and I’m working hard on making (at least) one more Rabbit sticker design. Will this one be it? I’ll share more potential sticker drawings soon! by @manderijn_makes_art

It’s October! Time for Halloween!

With the weather getting more gloomy, who else is craving spooky season? 🎃🦇👻

While working on getting ready for my third and biggest art market so far, I couldn’t help but make a drawing JUST FOR ME! And I’m so glad I did ❤️

Growing up I always loved watching horror movies with my dad. When we learned about Halloween my family started celebrating it. As Dutch people we were the only family in the street that did. We would get dressed up, carve pumpkins, eat way too much food, and go trick or treating. We still celebrate it every year. And now after a few years slowly Halloween is getting more widely celebrated in the Netherlands so SOMETIMES we even get a trick or treater at the door!

Do you celebrate Halloween? Is it a thing in your country? I’d love to know ❤️🎃 by @manderijn_makes_art

Four zines, all made by me, and all are going to go with me to the @showyourselfmarket this December!

But who knows, maybe I’ll need to make an updated post with all my zines again soon 😱 I AM working on making a new one 🙊 by @manderijn_makes_art

So happy to say I’ve successfully figured out how to scan, edit and print a zine I originally made physically on paper!

All my other zines so far have been either fully digital OR one of a kind pieces. Are there any other zines I’ve made in the past I should do this with? Let me know 🥰 by @manderijn_makes_art

I made that table cloth myself ok 😅 I obviously did not measure it haha
I’ll make a better one for the next one 🙂 WAIT, NEXT ONE?! Yeah! Stay tuned!

Thank you everyone who visited my stall last week at @crosscomix.rdam
And yes, talking to people IS my favourite part! The wonderful people in that photo even shared pictures of their pet bunnies with me! Amazing ❤️🐇 taken in de Doelen by @manderijn_makes_art

I had a great time vending at @crosscomix.rdam
This was only my second market attending as a vendor and it was my first time traveling for one and setting up by myself (scary! But I did it!)
The organisers were so lovely and the attendees were even lovelier ❤️❤️❤️
Definitely more markets in my future, keep an eye out for a possible announcement soon 🙊 taken in de Doelen by @manderijn_makes_art

Easy to say: 14 year old me is FREAKING OUT!

12 year old me can’t believe a little doodle they made in their school planner would turn into an >100 volumes comic.
14 year old me can’t believe I will get to sell the first two volumes at a comic book event!
31 year old me ALSO can’t believe this is happening 😅

The footage at the beginning of this reel is from 2009, when I had just made 100 RaBbit&RabBit comics. I used to scan them and share them on a Dutch humor focussed website that sadly does not exist anymore.
I made a youtube video to celebrate that is now private but I felt it very appropriate to share a few clips from it for this occasion ❤️

Will I see any of you at Cross Comix this Friday? 😊🩵❤️
