@publix you already know I love your flowers but the fall section oh-em-gee😚👌 did not disappoint! It was exactly what I needed to convince me to pull these decorations out and bring fall into our home!!!

We’ve been getting Publix delivered the last few grocery days so I haven’t had a fresh bouquet in a min! So this one was extra exciting!

I had my bullet points before I started this video but hadn’t worked out the whys…it was a weird realization that all the things that caused me mounds of stress and anxiety as a kid have become the foundation of the structure in my home.

Important notes:
👉we struggled, and the kids in my childhood home felt it, but we ALWAYS felt loved.
👉My kids live in a two parent home and I know I’m fortunate for that
👉we only have one kid we pay for chores, of if I had 5, things would probably be different

🎄 Christmas Gift Ideas for Kids on the Spectrum!

Gift giving for a child on the spectrum can be pretty easy when you’re with that child every day.

But when you’re shopping for a child you don’t see every day, and you can’t exactly call them up and ask what they want, it can be a little overwhelming trying to find the perfect gift!

Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to not only TELL you, but SHOW you some of our favorite things we’ve bought Bryce over the years. Things I genuinely believe could be a hit with so many kids on the spectrum!

For reference, my son is 9 years old, diagnosed Level 2 autistic, a sensory seeker, a gestalt language processor, and an absolute LIGHT in our lives! ❤️

Of course, every child is different, but these are the things that have been huge hits in our house!

We LIVE on this crash pad!!! And yes, it does tend to be a workout for Mom if I want it to! The boys definitely play with this mostly independently!

He loves when B and I show his team spirit! Now I just have to make one for dad, so him and B can show as much spirit next game!

We didn’t force Ry into sports! We let him be a kid. I’d argue that’s why he loves baseball so much! Because when he did get to an age where we told him it was time to do something, he CHOSE baseball!

Obviously there is a bit of a down side starting 4 to 5 years after everyone else… just in the skill gap…so Daddy has been working hard on things with him in the cage.
He got a hit - got on base ONE time the entire last season… this season, he’s gotten a hit and been on base 4/5 games! Daddy and Ry’s work is definitely paying off!!! But our coordination and run speed definitely have a ways to go… and Ry swears he’s gonna make it to the Majors! 😅😍

So now it’s my turn to help little man out!

Follow along as Mom gets in on the baseball basics focusing on all the things that I know everything about!!!! Dance meets baseball!!!

We warmed up for an hour and a half before we ran outside to put all the stretches, core focus, arm position, and high knees to work! This kid never ceases to amaze me!!! 🏃 🏃‍♀️ by @mandimadeugc
