Long post, long caption: The internet hates long videos (aren’t they trending though), but after 20 years in Tahoe skiing 30 second lines this is exactly why I came to AK. With the forecast looking uncertain I hope this isn’t it, (I was just starting to feel the confidence to step up to bigger terrain,) but if it is, that’s Alaska for you, and it’s been a dream come true.
Huge thanks to @markrainery and @seabaheli for getting me on top of this. If you listen carefully you can hear @lurcas over the radio encouraging me to shift into 3rd gear for the funky snow down low, the crew up here rocks. Put this place on your list.
I hope there’s more to come, I hope I come back soon but no matter what it’s been an incredible experience. Thanks all.
