Happy 12th Birthday, Madeline! One more year until we have a teenager in the house. This year she celebrated with an escape room party - it was just as much fun to watch as it was for the girls to do! She's such an amazing kid and always makes us so proud. One whole year with this precious boy. How do these first birthdays creep up so fast? I'm so lucky to be able to do this again. Having a new baby in the house has been a sweet reminder to slow down and savor the small things. I forget too easily that some of the best memories are in the everyday mundane moments. He's brought so much extra joy and laughter into our lives. He's cuddly, goofy, curious, loves his family, his dogs, Ms. Rachel, and playing with just about anything that's not a toy 🤪. He keeps us on our toes and has us all wrapped around his finger. Happiest First Birthday Theodore Rey - I couldn't adore you more. We can't wait to celebrate you this weekend 🧸🤎 by @mandy_martinezz

My sweet little boy is a Kindergarten graduate 🥹. From the beginning of the school year coming home crying because being at a new school was overwhelming, to last night crying because he was going to miss his friends over summer break....Dominic really came out of his shell and had the best year! By mid -year he had mastered his Kinder sight words, and by the end of the year, he had passed all of his first grade sight words as well. Congrats Dommy, we're so proud of you! by @mandy_martinezz

Sixth grade promotion! Madeline set out to do it all her sixth grade year and that's exactly what she did. It was a sweet and emotional ceremony today and Madeline gave a wonderful speech. The students were recognized for all of their hard work. Madeline had a long list of accomplishments for her final year as a Falcon:

Leadership: Student Body President,
High Honor Roll all year (a 4.0 every year of elementary school as well),
Citizenship,
Perfect attendance,
Captain and MVP of the volleyball team,
Played on the soccer team,
Captain and MVP of the basketball team,
Captain of the softball team,
Chorus,
Strings (playing the violin),
Lifetime Falcon Award,
And lastly, she was picked as "Falcon of the Year"

She's hard-working, fearless and so incredibly smart. We're beyond proud of her for having the courage to put herself out there, and to juggle so many activities while maintaining her GPA. She's had a remarkable journey at Figarden and is ready for middle school (even though I may not be 🥹). Countless memories, friendships made, and amazing teachers that helped along the way. Congratulations Madeline! I will always be your biggest cheerleader and I can't wait to see what amazing things you accomplish next. We love you so much 🩵 by @mandy_martinezz
