Just left my baby girl at Bristol University and it feels like I’ve left a big piece of my heart there too 💔. Letting go is one of the hardest things to do as a mum every part of me wants to keep her close but I know this is her time for more big adventures, independence, and building her own path. Proud doesn’t even cover it but my god, letting go is tough. Here’s to new chapters, @ava.dalgarno even if they break my heart a little bit 💕✨ taken in University of Bristol by @mandydalgarno

How is it even possible that my baby is 18? I still feel far too young, and yet, here you are, growing into the most confident, kind, and incredible young woman. It feels like just yesterday you were my shy little shadow, clinging to my hand, and now you’ve become my best friend ♥️

You’ve always loved being the baby of the family, and we’ve loved spoiling you. You’ve brought so much love, and laughter into our lives. Watching you come into your own, finding your voice, your confidence, and your place in the world—has been the greatest gift.

You are funny, talented, and so full of heart. You make life brighter for everyone around you, and you’ve made mine better in every way. I’m so proud of the woman you’re becoming, but I hope you know you’ll always be my baby, no matter how grown up you get.

As you step into this next chapter, remember that I’ll always be here, cheering you on, supporting you, and loving you. You’re not just my daughter—you’re my best friend, and my forever “baby”.

Happy 20th Birthday to my firstborn and my best friend. From the moment you came into this world, you’ve filled my heart with more love and pride than I could have ever imagined.
You’re so incredibly talented, and watching you grow into the amazing person you are today has been the greatest gift I could ever receive.
