One of the greatest gifts of marrying a surfer (and now raising one) is that it has taken me to corners of the world I probably never would have discovered on my own. Twenty years ago, I never imagined I’d be planning family vacations around surf forecasts, hauling board bags through airports, or happily spending hours on remote beaches. But somewhere along the way, those adventures became some of my favorite memories. This trip to Bali and Sumba took us 32 hours of travel, 6 suitcases, and 2 oversized board bags to get there. 😂 My husband packs as many boards as I pack bikinis, so we don’t necessarily travel light. Do I still overpack? Every. Single. Trip. I can never decide what I dislike more…packing or unpacking. But after all these years, I’ve learned to be ready for anything because these adventure are always worth it. Years ago, I met @mandyfry at a female founders event and instantly connected over our shared love for entrepreneurship, creativity, and building brands with intention.
