Hi lovelies

Hope you’re all well. I had the privilege to participate in the Community Collaboration hosted by the lovely Jess from @colouring.bumblebee of Romantic Country - The First Tale by Eriy @eriy06. Thank you for hosting this Jess it was so fun and I’m humbled to have been included.

I love how my page turned out. It looks exactly how I had hoped for.

To see all the lovely pages in this collaboration, please visit Jess’ YouTube Channel called Colouring Bumblebee. Perhaps you could drop a like, comment and even subscribe and check out all her other wonderful content. Here is the link to the collaboration video:

https://youtu.be/7xf7-HO17qk?si=keSb6pfxwy1A_MRh

I used Prismacolors, Derwent Inktense Pencils, Languo gel pens and watercolour paint.

I was struggling mentally at the time so I decided to give ChatGPT a try and see if it could help me bring my vision for this page to life and it sped up the process for me immensely and I will definitely being doing this again when I’m struggling or when I’m having difficulty with completing a page.

Enjoy the sun for those moving into summer 🌞

Love to all ❤️

Hi lovelies

Here is my newest completed page coloured from the wonderful Christine Karron’s (@chkarron ) gorgeous book Wildflower Folk. This page is called Free Spirit.

Please scroll to see the page come to life and to see what mediums and colour combinations that I used.

I hope you like her as much as I do. I’m really happy with how she turned out. I would love to know your thoughts please.

Thank you for taking the time to see my artwork.

As many chapters in my life have closed over the last 6 months, colouring has been a comfort and a constant which I am so grateful for. I am also so thankful for my loved ones who have been there for me and helped me push through what has been an incredibly challenging part of my life. However, I sense opportunity in the air and pray that my next chapter be one of purpose and faith.

Hey everyone

Hope you are all well and surviving the madness of 2025. We are almost there friends.

A couple of months ago my mental health took a massive decline with up to 8 panic attacks in a day and days filled with suicidal ideation. It was probably the worst time of my life and I am so grateful to have made it through to the other side.

What I learnt?

1. Perimenopause/Menopause impact your mental health severely. The panic attacks were due to the hormonal imbalance. Scary.

2. Sometimes we go through tough times to bring us closer to God. I would not have made it through if I had not turned to faith. My dear friend, you know who you are, thank you for taking me to church and for bringing the light back into my life. Thank you for standing with me in the dark and for not judging me but rather guide me back to where I belong. I am so grateful. Thank you.

3. True friends will reveal themselves and even if they are new friends they will be the ones to stand with you on n your storm and make you feel loved. Thank you so much my dear friends for holding space for me, for uplifting me, for being there for me and most importantly for showing up with no judgement for me when I was at my worst and my lowest. You know who you are, your names are on repeat in all my medical records over the last few months. You know who you are and j am immensely grateful for the sisterhood we have built.

4. Not everyone is able to understand or support you in your darkest of times and that is ok. You do you. I have grown and changed and so not all relationships and friendships will carry on to the next chapter and that is ok. I send you peace and pray you find the kind of happiness that will fill your heart and bring sunshine to your life.

Whilst struggling with concentration and motivation, I tried to use my love for colouring to help me get through some of the days where I was able to be somewhat productive. This was my project over that time.

Hey everyone

And just like that, it is Friday again!

I have finally finished this beautiful page. I am really happy I pushed through the struggles I had with this one. Nothing went as planned 😂😂😂 So she has turned out completely different to what I had envisioned. I’m happy with theme end result.

What do you think? I’m genuinely curious to know your thoughts.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi my lovelies

Finally, finally she is done. This has been a forever wip purely because I was hoping to finish her up on camera for my YouTube channel. Alas, life got real and finding the time to record and edit with busy work and mum life, I ran out of patience and wanted to finish her.

I am so happy that I finally did and I am really pleased with how she turned out. The turquoise/teal background walls I intended to be a lot more turquoise and less green. It is what it is and hopefully it doesn’t detract too badly from the page as a whole.

Book 📚: Colouring Heaven Magazine’s Halloween edition (swipe to see the progress video including the cover of the book)
Illustration Name: Queen of the Night
Artist 🧑‍🎨 : Sarah Richter … love her work
Mediums Used: Prismacolours, Ohuhu Markers, Languo Acrylic pens, Glitter gel pens

Let me know your thoughts… thank you to everyone who left the loveliest worded comments during the wip process of this page.

Have a great weekend!

Hello my lovelies

Happy Monday!

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to “Amber” and to share this wonderful buddy colour with you. To share in colouring this beautiful illustration with my dear and very talented friend @colorsofnatart made the experience even more special.

I was going for a vintage vignette photograph look with mine. It surprised me how quickly I was able to colour this page and I loved every second of it.

Please swipe left to see @colorsofnatart gorgeous version. I love how @colorsofnatart has created such a warm atmosphere with her creative background and I particularly love the iridescent cape and her glowing ivory skin. Thank you for collaborating with me for this buddy colour.

I have also included a short snippet of how my page came together.

Be blessed and celebrate even the smallest of victories in your day.

Till I see you again, take care and happy colouring 🫶🏻

Amber Glow ✨🍁🌅

On this radiant Monday, I am overjoyed to share our latest color-along with my dear and kind-hearted friend Mandy. Together, we brought to life a breathtaking illustration by the ever-talented Christine Karron, infusing it with our creativity and imagination.

For my piece, I immersed myself in the warmth of a glowing sunset, drawing inspiration from one of the brilliant tutorials by the amazing Monja Gates. The result is a magical scene bathed in golden light, where reflections dance and her skin glows with luminous beauty.

Mandy’s portrait is equally captivating—a mesmerizing vision with striking makeup and a masterful balance of high contrast and soft blends. Her artistic touch creates an image that is both bold and ethereal, drawing the viewer into its enchanting depths.

Be sure to swipe all the way to the left to witness Mandy’s stunning version! We hope you love our Amber Glow as much as we loved bringing it to life. ✨🌅💛
