Entering full-term pregnancy today, and yesterday our team completed the final performance of the season. It feels like the perfect moment to mark this milestone and my journey of dancing through pregnancy.

When I realized a new chapter of life was unfolding, I made a promise to myself — to keep nourishing the parts of me that make me feel alive: my clinical work and my dancing. I wanted to step into motherhood not by leaving myself behind, but by growing with it.

Many people say I am strong. Through this experience, I discovered that strength too — but I also know I wouldn’t have found it without these brilliant dancers and beautiful souls who feel like true family. They gave me something rare: a space where I could grow, be vulnerable, and still be trusted.

No one questioned if I could do it. They believed I could, simply because I believed I could. And that kind of trust is exactly the kind of support I hope to give my child one day.

We’ll never get these moments back.

Since Oskar was born, our world has been completely reshaped. Tyler and I chose to take a full month off to be fully present, learning how to care for this little human. As much as we’re constantly figuring things out, we’ve come to realize that this newborn phase is even more challenging for him.

It’s humbling to see how hard it is for him to exist in such a tiny body, slowly finding his place in this vast world. As parents, we can’t take away all his discomfort—but we can stay close, holding him, supporting him through each new change and challenge.

And in the process, we are growing right alongside him.

DIY photo shoot for memorizing this special period of time. I still don’t appreciate this ongoing changes of my body. Pregnancy is challenging my relationship with my body and showing my insecurity with it every day. But it is okay, I am learning, and I can still have fun with it. Anyway, every moment in life worth celebration. Big thanks to my husband @tycallisoni for the greatest supports!

As I step into my third trimester, this journey has challenged me more in the mind than in the body.

There is an attachment to my ego, and at the same time, a quiet liberation learning to let my heart lead the way.

I resist my changing form, yet I am in awe of what this body can hold, create, and become.

I fear losing myself, while gently discovering a self I’ve never met before.

I feel vulnerable showing this growing belly, yet I am surrounded by a group of women @high.heellers that holds me safely, that sees me unchanged at the core, through every transformation.

Forever grateful for this body, for my friends and family, for my dancing community, for my child,
and for myself, being and becoming.
