We are devoted to the practice of evoking what rises in the in-between

Coming from different backgrounds — therapy, facilitation, music, and the arts — all of our practices revolve around the same threshold: the place where words are no longer enough.

We are drawn to poetic conversations about what it means to be human, and to the moments when the boundaries between self and other, life and death, the known and the unknown, become porous.

We meet those moments with music.

There are instances in this life where singing — one of the oldest gestures of care — is the only appropriate answer.

Not to fix.
Not to explain.

But to be present with what is,
and to cherish the moment, however long.

On Friday, we had the joy of singing at Einfach heiraten at Genezarethkirche in Berlin.

Throughout the day, people came to receive a blessing in many different ways. Some celebrated their love, some came on their own, and others marked a transition, a farewell, or simply paused to receive what the moment had to offer. We, too, received a blessing as an ensemble.

To accompany these moments with song was deeply moving.

Again and again, we are reminded that music can meet people where words are no longer enough. Sometimes all that is needed is a voice that stays, a shared silence, a song.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into these intimate moments, and to everyone who made this beautiful day possible.

Immer wieder zieht es uns an die Schwellen des Lebens. 🍂

An die Momente, an denen Worte nicht mehr ausreichen.
An Betten und Abschiede, bei denen das Ende des Lebens spürbar wird.
Dahin, wo Trauer und Liebe nebeneinander sitzen.
Wo an einen Menschen erinnert wird.
Wo jemand auf seinem letzten Weg begleitet wird.

In solchen Momenten ist Singen eine besondere Form des Daseins.

Nicht, um den Schmerz wegzumachen.
Nicht, um Antworten zu geben auf das, was sich nicht erklären lässt.
Sondern um mit allem da zu sein.

Singen ist eine der ältesten Formen von Fürsorge ist. Eine Möglichkeit, nahe zu bleiben, wenn ein Leben zu Ende geht, und das zu ehren, was bleibt.

Diese Arbeit berührt uns. Und sie ruft uns immer wieder.
