@romaro.studio by Roja Beygi and Maneli Ramezannia, recently graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Fashion, transforms Persian cultural symbolism into sculptural couture. Inspired by the Persian cypress and its enduring symbolism of resilience and elegance, the Élyor collection translates heritage into sculptural silhouettes, suspended structures, and handcrafted details. ELYOR explores the tension between softness and structure, creating garments that exist between fashion, art, and architecture. One of the standout collections from Fashion Art Toronto SS26. And just like that… four years passed by. I still remember how stressed I was about getting accepted into TMU and how everyone would panic when I told them Fashion was the only thing I applied to. But that was all I wanted, to study fashion, to draw, to sew, to bring emotions to life through what I create. And now, four years later, I’ve made my first collection, Luminescent. It feels surreal. Exciting, emotional, a little overwhelming… seeing how much I’ve grown, and knowing this is only the beginning of a new chapter. I’m so grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey, every moment, good or bad. All of it shaped me into the designer I am today, how I think, how I create, and how I express myself. A special thank you to @farleychatto for always supporting me and believing in me (especially believing I could bead my whole collection 😭). @danielle.martin__ for being a big inspiration and guiding me throughout this process. And to everyone who stood by me, supported me, and made this collection possible! Can’t forget about my amazing models who truly brought my collection to life!🫠🫶🏼 and my h&mu team @robeybeautysalon for bringing the vision to life.😚 by @maneli.zip
