Weather plays a huge role in sealcoating.

With nearly 90% humidity, a high dew point, and no sun, this first coat is taking a little longer than normal to dry.

It won’t affect the quality of the finished product, we just have to give the material the time it needs before laying down that second coat.

We’re breaking the plaza into multiple phases to keep traffic flowing while working through roughly 225,000 sq. ft. at a time.

How do you tackle a 700,000 sq. ft. two-coat sealcoating job? It all starts with planning.

From getting the entire plaza properly blocked off to blowing everything clean, crack filling, cutting in the curbs, and laying down both coats, every step has to stay organized.

The crew was on site at **6:30 AM**, had the first coat nearly finished by noon, and kept this massive project moving. 💪

Big projects come down to planning. 👊

We were out at Baytown Plaza in Webster tackling nearly 700,000 sq. ft. with two full coats of sealer.

On this day alone, we knocked out over 200,000 sq. ft. while keeping traffic flowing throughout the plaza. Four trucks, thousands of gallons of sealer, and a crew that knows how to keep a project this size moving efficiently.
