Mmmmm, I said what I said…. IDC let’s 👨🏼‍🎨 🎨 the 🌆 🚨
Since you guys like to name everything I think we’ll call this one #spanishmahogany bye bye #cowboycopper 🤣
I first removed all of Lizzette’s extensions and did a full bleach out to even out the #canvas, once that was finished I colored her hair and new #extensions using all #pravana color. I used 2 packs of 18 inch weft hair from @thehairshopinc on the back of her head for fullness and two packs of 18 inch #skinweft for the sides to offer more flatness and flexibility for putting the hair up. Lmk what you think of this color?😍

Part One of a massive color transformation 😃
6 hours with a master colorist and another session to go for low lights. Making a future attempt at going to my natural silver easier and less harsh 😊

Today @manesavant and I spent seven hours together. He worked and I attacked zombies, ordered Uber Eats, narrowly avoided a meltdown, and basked in the love that Nick has bathed me in since the day we met.

I was ready to grow my roots out for the first time in decades, but I wasn’t willing to be that lady who walked around town growing her roots out. I’m just not that fearless, but I admire the women who are.

I’m stunned that he was able to make this transformation so natural looking. Nick is so gifted, it’s never just hair. It’s science and art, and again, it’s love.

I’m so lucky he dropped into my world. My only regret is that I won’t be seeing him every three weeks to get my roots touched up. I’ll just need to be diligent about visiting for no reason at all.

The blonde that never looks overdone ✨

Think Caroline Bissett-Kennedy: soft, effortless blonde with seamless dimension and a grow-out that only gets prettier with time. This is for the person who wants to look polished without ever looking overly highlighted or too “done.”

If you’re looking for low-maintenance, dimensional color that feels expensive and lived in, this is exactly the kind of blonde I love creating.

What line of demarcation? 💅

Swipe.

The second slide is what we found after removing the extensions.

Multiple bands.
Significant regrowth.
Fragile ends.

Most people only see the final blonde.

But corrective color starts with understanding exactly what’s happening underneath.

Every section tells a story.
Every band tells you where the hair has been.

My job is figuring out how to get it where it needs to go next.

One transformation at a time. 🧡

Lifted to this with no toner 🍓

Highlift color for the win 🏆

From platinum blonde… to vivid copper… to this soft strawberry blonde.

After years of heavy blonding on naturally level 3 hair, we shifted toward a softer and more sustainable approach to brightness using highlift color and more strategic maintenance instead of constantly pushing bleach further every appointment.

Less aggressive lightening.
More dimension.
More shine.
More longevity.

The result feels softer, healthier, more lived-in, and honestly… far more luxurious-looking 🧡

Sometimes the prettiest blonde isn’t the lightest one.

Tag someone who was born to be strawberry blonde ✨

Brightness without harshness 🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼

This is what happens when blonde is customized instead of overdone.

Soft dimension, seamless blending, and blonde that still feels expensive as it grows out 🧡

10 years ago we started the journey of transitioning my mom into silver.

Today, every bit of this is her natural hair 🤍

Natural silver hair isn’t always pure icy white — texture, minerals, heat styling, smoking, and daily life can all influence tone over time. That softness and variation is part of what makes it real.

There’s something beautiful about allowing hair — and ourselves — to evolve naturally ☺️🫰

Happy Mother’s Day, mama ✨
