Artober Day 7/15: Mahjong 🀄️

🀄️ It’s hard to escape the Mahjong craze these days! There are so many beautiful mahjong sets out there with incredible art, and it was hard to choose which tiles to create for this print.

🀄️ I’ve played about 10 times, and have been close to getting mahjong a few of those times, but I still have never won a game!

Please drop your best strategy tips below, I need all the help I can get! ⤵️

Artober Day 6/15

Who doesn’t love UNO?! While this was the first game I ever made a print of, it took me 3 months to finally post about it.

🔄 As iconic as this card is, I think the UNO Reverse card might be even more iconic. So don’t be surprised if that one finds its way into this series.

Next up is the game that everyone is talking about… can you guess what it is?!

Did I curse the White Sox with my last video? Here’s hoping I don’t curse the Bears…. Even though that last game was brutal.

🛑 Week 6 of our CTA Stop series takes us to the Roosevelt red line!

🛑 This station services events at Soldier Field like Bears games and concerts, as well as Chicago’s incredible museum campus.

🛑 What’s your favorite place to go off of the Roosevelt stop?! ⤵️

Artober day 5/15: SKYJO

Did you know you can finally grab your own copy of this original linocut print and all of the other card games I’ve been recreating?!

I had so many questions about purchasing these prints that I just couldn’t wait until the series is over to add them to my shop.

Even though this is only day 5, you can grab the first 6 designs in this series today. But you better be quick because only 10 of each design are in my shop (for now)!

Which game are you buying a print of? Let me know!

Artober Day 4/15: CLUE

🔎 SO many of you wanted to see Clue and here it is! I absolutely love how the fingerprint turned out, and I’m happy I finally got to use this maroon inkpad

🫆 Side note I’m sort of obsessed with this fingerprint emoji?

So many good games are in the queue, what’s one you want to see ⤵️

One more chance left for the @whitesox to make some history!

Week 5 of 7 CTA Stops in 7 Weeks has me rooting for my crosstown rivals, who would have thought!

Can’t believe this series will be done in two weeks and I can’t wait to get these up into my shop. Be sure you’re following @mango.tango.studio and following my Etsy shop to be notified when you can grab one!

Artober Day 3/15: RUMMIKUB

🃏 This game was suggested by my friend, and for how many games I play, I somehow have never actually played Rummikub.

🃏 This little joker tile felt perfect for linocut, but after staring at him for so long it felt like he was staring into my soul 👹

Up next is the game that’s been suggested most frequently, can you guess what it is? 🔎

Can you believe it’s been 5 weeks of Carving 7 CTA Stops?!

Even though I’m a Cubs fan, it’s still fun to have a Chicago baseball team to root for, so this week’s station is Sox-35th which services Rate Field and the @whitesox who are just one win away from advancing to the ALCS.

There are only 2 weeks left and I’ll be listing all of these signs on my Etsy for purchase, so comment below which stop you’d buy a print of!
