Tracking guitar for the new album. Here’s a sneak peak of “Goblin Night.” Maybe our fastest song thus far?
This one is particularly hard to sing and play, but the vocals will have to be heard later… 👻 by @mangybones

Oct 17th - get on down to @peteyspalatka for a Pre-Halloween Bash! Y’all are not gonna wanna miss this one 🎃👻

Out of all the venues we’ve ever played, this is one of our all-time favorites: Free roaming goats, ice cold bevys, and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive! 🐐🐐🐐 by @mangybones

Saturday night’s dancin’ at Muddy Roots conjured a lightning storm which caused all the sets to be cut short. I took the first photograph during the rain shortly after, trying to harvest some lightning, after most had scattered into the outskirts of the field.

If you were lucky enough to wait it out a couple hours, folks were allowed to crank it back up. The few handful of freaks that made it to the last set were in for a wicked cauldron of heavy treats. Mangy Bones put everyone in a trance to close out to night, finishing at 2:30am. Took awhile to wind down after that great set.

@muddyrootsmusic was the granddaddy of all adventures! Lots of twists and turns on this trip, but we pulled through. We were watching the Circle Jerks play, getting ready for our set when a bad lightning storm hit and they had to pause their set. So our late show was delayed even later 😵‍💫 but I’m so thankful for all the people who stuck it out and still jammed with us into the wee hours.

I’ve got a lot of shoutouts to rattle off: Big thanks to all of our friends who stuck by us, and for @ivythecowardlygirl & @misterdoctorsnail for holding down the merch booth. Thank you @satans_cumslut for reminding us to apply, and @americandreamsurvivors for getting us in touch with @themilt to make it all happen.
Hunter (our new banjo player) did an excellent job for his first legit gig with us, as well as the rest of the Mangy crew 🏴‍☠️ (Y’all killed it!)

Also want to pay tribute to Matt from @yesmaamsux, I’m so gutted to hear of his passing when we went to go check out his set. He was such an awesome dude and talented musician. RIP, buddy.

I’m so thankful for the awesome people who support us and the new friends we met along the way. Still buzzing from this rad experience. We hope to play Muddy Roots again next year! 🖤☠️ taken in Muddy Roots Music Festival by @mangybones

5 years since @victoriazeoli and I (@ron_studabaker) released our first album. I’m still so proud of what we created and how things are evolving with our current bandmates. Couldn’t be happier with what everyone brings to the table and how talented this crew is.

Anyways, I wanted to pop on here to let y’all know that lots of things are still happening behind the scenes and I’m so excited for the next episode. However, I haven’t felt much like making content or posting anything lately. The past few weeks have been incredibly rough… lost a best friend, and life in general has been throwing stress bombs left & right. But you know what, that’s just how life goes, full of highs and lows. We’re strong and we will get through this. Pretty soon we’ll be flying high again 🎶 Stay tuned for what we have in store for you all… 👻 by @mangybones
