I need to put out here now that I can’t do commissions even though it says no where in my bio that I do commissions and I had to even put in my bio that I don’t do commissions.. because this is the 4th time someone has tried pushing my boundaries and getting mad that I don’t do commissions questioning me to a very personal degree making me super uncomfortable. It is no one’s business why I say no. No should cut the conversation. No is a full sentence. It is so wrong to keep pushing and crossing a boundary. I feel really confused and it scared me a bit causing a lot of anxiety. I don’t do commissions and I honestly am afraid to and I really can’t because of my life situation even if I were able to. I should NOT have to explain anything. That is so sad. I’m so sorry to write a post like this. It’s not my usual art post. And I apologize. 😭😭😭 I just needed to put my thoughts out here. Like I said.. my mental health is bad, I am under disability, and a lot is going on in my life where I can’t do this… art is my safe space.. someone even accused me of not being an artist which hurt my feelings a lot and confused me??? I’m autistic too and do all my art myself. I’ve worked so hard and art is my “special interest” and hobby I fixate on to an extreme degree… not that I need to disclose that. I did a sketch of Conan Gray ✏️. He is one of my all time favorite musicians and I love his lyrics so much. I find him so relatable on top of that, and he’s so funny. I love his art topics on YouTube from years ago… it was so cool 🫶🏻🙌🏻💕🎨✏️. He is overall so inspiring and amazing. I love him and find peace within his music.. I will be adding colored pencil to this… it’s a long process but so worth it! This is sort of rough, and I tried my best. sketching Sabrina Carpenter for my friend!!! I know my friend is going to love it!! She requested this a while ago and I had struggled drawing it so many times, that I had doubted myself with it ;-; but didn’t give up! Months later! I finally did it! I tried and tried and then practiced on cheap sketch paper this morning + cheap pencil and was like “dang I can actually do this when I’m not worried about wasting paper or screwing up! SLAY AND YAS FOR THAT! It’s important not to over think things and let the art flow. We need to be kinder, gentle and love ourselves with our art. It is beautiful. I am so proud of myself and am glad I didn’t let my thoughts get in the way! I love my friend and am so excited!! I miss her and wish I reach out to her more!!! Conan’s music got her through a very hard time when Kid Krow was released and ironically I was going through a hard time too.
