They say the Kookaburra’s laugh is one of the oldest sounds of Australia 🌿

In Aboriginal Dreaming stories, the Kookaburra was asked to wake the world each morning. Its great laughing call, told the sky spirits it was time to light the first fire of the day; the sunrise 🌅

So when you hear a kookaburra laughing at dawn, it is not just a bird call…it is an ancient reminder that a new day has begun 🤎

Kookaburras are actually the world’s largest kingfishers!!!

Captured in my backyard 😊

The bee is more honoured than other animals,
not because she labours,
but because she labours for others... 💛
~St. John Chrysostom~

PS: And just see how her body is glowing with the pollens from all the flowers she had met 🐝
