Gallery for a cause !

A unique initiative by the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) on the occasion of Global Tiger Day 2024.

To mark the 51 years of the ‘Tiger Project‘ launched in 1972 for the protection of endangered species i.e tigers in India , “gallery for a cause” has been launched by TATR selecting 51 beautiful images submitted by wildlife enthusiasts shot across Tadoba landscape.

Gallery for a cause is not only aimed at increasing awareness towards wildlife conservation but also to showcase special relation between art and nature. Images will drive you through stories, moments and emotions of Tigers in the wild.

Exhibition cum sale under this initiative is live at Chandrapur from today i.e 17.08.2024 onwards at Shradheya Atal Bihari Vajpayee Botanical Garden Visapur, Chandrapur for next 51 days. Exhibition in the other cities like Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune shall follow after this event.

The funds collected as part of this initiative shall go directly to the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve Conservation Foundation, and help strengthen further the efforts in keeping our ecosystem balanced and beautiful.

I know this is not a big achievement, so the post is not about ratings and all .

Posting this in view to show you all the bio diversity found in the vicinity of Ujjani Backwaters, Bhigwan marshland and grasslands !

Here you can find hundreds of species of birds native as well rare winter migratory birds. The tourism focused ecosystem/ naturalist allows you to explore excellent photography opportunities .

I feel blessed to visit bhigwan countless times. Grassland around Baramati and Ahmednagar which is an hour drive from Bhigwan will surprise you with elusive mammals like hyena , wolves , jungles cats and fox.
