“Thank you very much for me.”
-Xavisms. What I find profound about this photo is that usually when I am doing Xavi’s hair he has the expression you see on my face and depending on how it is going I have the expression you see in his face. I love that it’s the other way around. Sometimes it feels that he is raising me. He makes me remember my inner child and tend to her. He makes me have more fun and take life both less and more seriously. He makes me both notice and completely ignore the passage of time. Most of all he makes me glad to be awake alive. To witness his existence. To witness my existence. photo by @pietus_photo thank you for this bday gift. taken in Warsaw, Poland by @mankichka

My richness is life, forever. On her first trip to Amsterdam, Beau and I got stopped by a street photographer Tom on Herengraachtstraat (i think) correct me if I am wrong. She was elated this whole trip. It was such a pleasure experiencing *sober* Amsterdam through her beautiful bright eyes. by @mankichka

Poetry Night Amsterdam is back!

Donderdag 13 August, 2026 | 19.30

This evening's theme: Summer Is Lost

Summer Is Lost is an invitation to reflect on what has faded, what still lingers, and what we choose to carry forward. Write about endings, fleeting moments, nostalgia, love, change, or the warmth that remains long after the sun has set. Every interpretation is welcome.
On stage and in the room: people with something to share.
