Beautiful wedding photography isn’t about perfect conditions. It’s about knowing how to make the most of every moment.

Here’s a little look at this weekend’s wedding, and honestly, what a day it was!

❤️ 1. Working with the lovely Jasleen

One of the best things about photographing a wedding is the people you meet along the way. Jasleen was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has such a calm, gentle nature, which makes such a difference on a wedding day. When things can get busy and emotions are running high, having that calm energy around you makes everything feel that little bit more special. It was a real pleasure to capture these moments for her.

☀️ 2. Autumn weddings keep you on your toes

Shooting weddings at this time of year definitely comes with its challenges. The light changes quickly, the days are shorter, and the temperature can drop just when you need to get outside for those portraits! But honestly, this is where I thrive. I love adapting to whatever the day throws at me and finding beautiful light in places you might not expect.

💡 3. Why I mix up my lighting

For this wedding, I used a mixture of natural light, flash and off-camera lighting to create different looks throughout the day. Sometimes it’s all about that soft, natural glow, while other moments call for something a little more dramatic. Having different lighting techniques in my toolkit means I can create a varied gallery that feels creative, timeless and full of personality.

If you’re newly engaged and looking for a photographer who will make you feel comfortable, work with whatever your day brings and capture your wedding with creativity and care, I’d love to hear from you.
