These images of @elizabethwheeland were shot using the new @hasselblad 90v Portrait lens- the best lens they have made for the X2D IMO. They also just released firmware 3.0 that gives the X2D face detection autofocus and I made a 10 minute video showing it in action. The setup for this shot included a @westcottlighting Parabolic umbrella directly above her and my Beauty dish off to the right side. I spent about $50 on the deep green accessories to match the deep green backdrop. I’m very happy the results. I just wish the image quality translated to Instagram because these medium Format portraits are insane to look at on a good monitor 🤯 by @mannyortiz

My beauty dish + The @westcottlighting Eyelighter reflector is my favorite lighting setup right now. I’ve snoozed on this reflector thinking it’s mainly for headshots but in the past couple of months, I’ve created some of my favorite beauty shots with this combo. For this shot, I placed a 7ft Westcott Parabolic umbrella behind @oy_nee who is seriously talented and used it as a kicker/background. Shot on the Sony A1+ 85mm 1.4 sigma by @mannyortiz

Did you see my post yesterday about a big announcement today? Well here it is… in collaboration with @westcottlighting, I would like to introduce to you the 36inch Manny Ortiz Beauty Dish 🙌🙌 This all feels so surreal to me still🥲 What I envisioned as the perfect modifier is what this exactly is- It can be used as a traditional beauty dish for close up shots and can be used like a normal soft box for full body photos! Check out the launch video on YouTube 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you @westcottlighting for this amazing opportunity by @mannyortiz

After years of shooting out of my storefront studio, I decided to make a change. I closed the doors and moved the studio to my garage.
That space will always be a big part of my journey. Some of my best work was created there, but it was time to switch things up.
For the past month, I’ve been working to turn my garage into a studio designed specifically for photography and filming content.
Still putting the finishing touches on it, but we’re officially up and running. 📸 by @mannyortiz

We all know how annoying it can be trying to sell old camera gear. @mpbcom makes the process super easy and they offer 20% more than the competition. Check my linktree for my custom link and get yourself a free quote @mpbcom #mpbcom, #changegear #ad by @mannyortiz

When you realize you don’t have fuss with light stands anymore, I’m telling you…. You’re not going to want to go back ✋ On top of that, it holds all of your gear. Moving from one spot to the next, you just simply roll that baby over there 💁‍♂️ Comment “WAGON” and I’ll send you a link

The way you shoot off- camera flash is about to change!

✅ No more fighting with light stands
✅Integrated light pole (Removable)
✅Extends up to about 8 feet high
✅Rugged wheels (with locks)
✅Rear tailgate
✅Side storage
✅Stable on a windy day

One huge benefit to this wagon is its size. It will easily fit into a small trunk while still being extremely sturdy
