Two years. Zero plans. One belief that it could work. This is what that looks like.

I won’t pretend I had it figured out from day one.
I didn’t. Not even close.

What I had was a camera, a partner in my corner who refused to let me quit, and just enough courage to take the first step without knowing where it led.

I’ve stood in rooms where other filmmakers had setups that made mine feel invisible. Seeing it up close, right in front of me; that kind of discouragement hits different when it’s not just a screen.

But I made a choice. Stop looking sideways. Start mastering what I already had.

When the opportunity finally came to go all in. I took it. And the clients who trusted me early on didn’t just give me work. They gave me proof that I belonged here.

That I was worth it.

From that point everything was earned. Saved. Reinvested. Built through silent sacrifices, late nights and the kind of hard work that never makes it onto a highlight reel.

You didn’t just hire a filmmaker. You helped build one. 🙏

Master what you have. Show up anyway. Trust the process.

This is where 2 years of that gets you.

Where are you at in your journey right now? Let me know below 👇

Rooted in Honor, Hospitality, and Humility.

@legacybarbers.wc the shop who has given me a place to grow as a filmmaker and as their content creator! I wanted to give thanks and show what their shop is about through this video!

They are a barbershop who not only just cut hair. They are changing the game of what barbering really is about.

Through Honor. Humility. Hospitality.

When you walk through those doors, not only will you be greeted with a smile, you will be asked if you would like a complimentary drink and a great conversation with everyone at the shop. These guys will always make you feel welcomed!

Thanks to @jayrmallari and @jorge.calderon.jr for helping me create this video!

This documentary I created was for a Short Film contest hosted by: @omgadrian 🏆

Win or lose...l’m glad I did this contest and learned a lot from the other creators who participated!

Winner will be announced soon! Stay tuned 👀
