Scool Cats

Last Thursday, my new educational project debuted. It's a small but loyal army of more than 50 students who practice voluntarily and daily during lunch time.

The name "Scool Cats" is a wordplay combining the school nature of the project and my favorite animal, the coolest of them all.
I believe that "people need dramatic symbols to shake them out of apathy". The students now have a place to create musical ideas and share the feeling of belonging.

Cats are taking over the school.

Repertoire:
"Save your tears" - The Weekend
"Lovely" - Billie Eilish
"Zombie" - The Cranberries
"Knee Socks" - Artic Monkeys
"Blood gets thin" - Pete and the Pirates
"Meet me at our spot" - The Anxiety
"Everyday I have the Blues - John Mayer

Last September 18th, I had the honor to perform with the @philipsharmonieorkest in the parade commemorating the liberation of Eindhoven, by the Allied troops in 1945.

As a Costa Rican, we will never fully understand the concept of the army and war, and yet, I was very proud of my small contribution to the band and the city.
