A week on from the Cannes Short Film Festival First time Directors Award and I am still deeply grateful for all the love and support that has poured in. It’s a surreal milestone, but one that only fuels the journey ahead.

Now, it’s back to the work I love most — storytelling. My production company and I are in Pre-production for my next feature film "A Shot of Chai " where I will be both producing and acting. @browneyedproduction

Excited for what’s to come, and committed to building something truly special.

DIRECTORS AWARD WINNER ⭐

I still can't believe the first film I Directed produced and had written, was nominated and not only screened at Cannes short film festival but WON!!!!!!

Hard work, have faith in yourself and in God, block out all the
negativity from people around you, and most importantly...
Always lead your life with love and laughter.

And eventually.. the road clears, the obstacles get left behind, the time wasters drop off and all that is left is the spotlight.. waiting for you to step into it and SHINE✨

Producing and acting this film makes me so soo proud!

Being the voice of many many men and women who have been survivors of trauma and abuse. Representing their journey of aftermath, picking up the pieces, accepting the trauma ... And then rising like a phoenix.

This film will forever be close to my heart 🤍 ....

For my new followers — Welcome 🪷

I’m Manorma. A South Asian Actor, award-winning Director and the Executive Producer of my film production company, Brown Eyed Production

I tell stories — on screen, behind the camera, and very much in real life through act, music and dance..If we ever meet, one thing’s guaranteed: you won’t be bored 🩷

I live and create as I am — rooted, expressive, intentional —
honouring my role as a South Asian woman and performer in every space I enter.

In a world that often rewards pretence, I choose presence.
I live fully, truthfully, peacefully, wholeheartedly — and yes, successfully.

So stick around. You’ll see the art, the madness, the magic… and the becoming ✨

Ok, bye for now. Have fun. Be kind. And enjoy the authenticity
