When a DJ is not only born for serving the dancefloor, but follows one’s inner thoughts and letting one song naturally lead into another, then there‘s more than music that flows out off the deck – but also the most genuine emotion poured into it, carried through from beginning to end.

MEP Radio Vol.36 w/ manson @mansonkaihua
Soft, warm, pitch-shifted vocals and emotional ambient melodies permeate the mind of Manson. Influenced by various types of music and fond of ACG subcultures, he wanders through the Internet music world.

Cherishing a hazy yet fervent longing for epic, dreamlike, nostalgic, and other surreal aesthetics, he draws inspiration from ”emotion“ as the starting point to run the label @mualot_mua

He keeps collecting edits and dubplates from his friends and overseas artists and loves to be the club banger by spinning these tunes. But what he pursues is to keep exploring the possibility of mixing sound from UK Wave, Grime, Trance and other various genres.

For this MEP Radio guest mix, he pulled out from his music collection some of the tracks he‘s been loving lately, ones he loves to play, and ones he rarely gets to play.

You never know what @mssingno means to me

Saying goodbye to my friends and hopping on a taxi to catch the flight back home, start feeling blues and look back how far away that I been through.

My mental state has been unstable for months, as I‘ve had to face various pressures (organizing and promoting this event, my personal life stress and bad emotions), but all I want is simply to do my best.

So when everything came to an end, that question I had asked myself countless times before — “Is doing this worth it?” — I can answer it now: yes, it is worth it. Because I love this guy, I love his music, and it was one of the few most fantastic nights of my life.

Since Real Tears came last year, I came to a realization:
Many people you may only meet once in this lifetime, many experiences you may only have this one time.
You never know when the next time will be, or how long it will take — even if there is a next time, it will never be the same love and excitement you feel for them in this moment.

And as for why I relate so deeply, perhaps it’s because I love their music too much — countless nights of overwhelming emotions, looping Fones, Adore, Forever, while tears soaking my face, clothes, pillow; or perhaps because I was fortunate enough to host my favorite artist, yet have to face the moment of saying goodbye to my king.
But I don‘t want this to come to an end.

I want to express my special thanks to @86_dj_86 and @kilo666vee here.
Without them, my dream would never come true.

I can’t tell by words, but all in the music.
