"Alchemy: A magical process, transformation's grace. Four years past, a camera in my hand, a fox and her kit graced my lens. Days I spent, hours waiting, seeking a favor from the fox gods. The allure of 'the shot' beckoned. After a combined 14 hours, it unfolded. Kits emerged, the mother rushed in, cautious. A tale of youth and age, each with its purpose. The parent, watchful, concerned, knowing; the child, carefree, love unburdened, embracing life's unknowns.

Recently, I stumbled upon this RAW photo. Recently, learning every cell renews, we transform every decade, I revisited my early 2020 edit. I dwelled in a different place then. Now, I wondered how I'd edit it today, uninfluenced by past sentiments. Art is fluid, regenerating, a reflection of the present against yesterday's self. It ebbs, it shifts, to the applause or disapproval of the crowd.
My takeaway is being truthful in your expression is paramount. And with that, you get to see where the journey took you and reflect on your growth throughout the entire process.
Emotionally, you can see the change in my two edits. 4 years apart. Alchemy. taken in Connecticut by @mantis_photography
