Adriana and I relocated to Milan for 1.5 years - within that time we found another home. Arturo, Maria, and Marco kept us company each week (usually more than once). Welcoming us into their restaurant, feeding us with their truly delicious, intentional dishes and mesmerizing history.

It was a privilege, an honor to capture this institution and these divine people in their element.

Arturo - the Alchemist. He loves few things more than spending weekends in his garden, tending to his plants with a simple mortadella panino and glass of red wine, spending some time in solitude and peace (well deserved after a five day lunch and dinner service as Chef).

Maria - la regina di San Marco. She will always greet you with a smile, and if you let her, she’ll share stories about all the fabulous people that have walked through their doors (from the Kennedy’s, Agnelli, journalists, artists). Her charm is so vivid that it’s natural for acquaintances to quickly become friends. She always reminds us how much she loves what she does - greeting guests, listening to their stories, watching them enjoy each course, and seeing them come back time and time again. She’ll also never pick up your plate unless you’ve completely finished your meal, so always arrive with an appetite.

Marco. The son of Maria and Arturo. A friend and confidant. My favorite memory of us is standing at the banchetto, between fresh rose tea from Arturo’s garden (and grappa, naturally) until 2, chatting about anything and everything from politics, religion, art, history. In grand conversation until the electricity went off because otherwise we wouldn’t have gone home! A man of great principles, gentle, and diplomatic. I like to think he is the reason that you still can’t book a reservation here after 60 years, and no matter who you are: everyone has to wait for their table.

An experience we will cherish forever, to capture you at your Home. Latteria. Our home now too. Grazie ❤️

Collectibles, Not Collections II - “A Milano” @lediplomateofficial 🤍

Beautiful story shot at our dream location (grazie to the truly fabulous @orsinabaroldi for opening your world to us!)! Corduroy, Italian silk, league stripes, crisp cotton - a few of our favorite things - are themes through this series.

Special shout out to my brother @rickyrozayjay for a day round trip flight from London to Milano to join us for the day & let us style the new @arthursleepshoes women’s shoes!
