The world happens first in Silicon Valley!

And after experiencing Tech Week, I know why.
Met some incredible founder friends, from 18-year-olds building their first startups to 75-year-olds still chasing their next big idea.

The hustle. The ideas. The energy. The vibe. It's infectious!

Driverless cars on the streets, robots walking around, autonomous deliveries, drones, AI breakthroughs in cancer research… science fiction is becoming everyday reality.
But what impressed me most wasn't the technology. It was the mindset.

Nobody asks, "Can this be done?" Everyone asks, "How fast can we build it?"

Every conversation sparks a new idea. Every founder is reimagining an industry. And AI is at the centre of it all.

After 30+ years of building businesses in India, I'm exploring the AI ecosystem, meeting brilliant minds, and connecting Silicon Valley innovation with opportunities back home and globally.

And somewhere in all this madness, I'm feeling like a 20-year-old again! The curiosity, the excitement, the urge to build something BIG!
One thing is clear: The next decade belongs to those who don't just use AI, but reimagine what's possible with it.

The future isn't coming. It's already here!

They say life begins at 50.

I disagree.

It begins again.

In my 20s, I built my first few startups with hunger.
No backup. No roadmap. Just fire.

Now?

The fire is back. But this time with experience, lessons, and global vision.

As Anoushka steps into adulthood,
I’m stepping into my teenage years again.

Reckless curiosity. Unfair ambition.. Zero fear of starting from scratch.

India was chapter one.
The world is chapter two.

Rebirth looks good on me.

To competitors — stay comfortable.
To the jealous — stay watching.
To the builders — let’s build something that makes borders irrelevant.

Dear Anoushka,

Today, you step into your 18th year — and I step into a new chapter of being your mom. You turn 17, and I can’t help but feel the years flash before me: from the little girl who clung to me with endless questions, to the young woman who now teaches me with her ideas, her stubbornness, and her courage.

This journey of ours hasn’t always been smooth. We’ve had our teenage clashes — those days of slammed doors, silences, and me not understanding you, and you not wanting to be understood. At times, I’ve held on too tightly; at times, you’ve pushed too hard to break free. But somewhere between those battles, we’ve also learned to make peace. I’ve begun to accept that I can’t protect you from everything, and you’ve begun to see that even in my flaws and mistakes, my love for you has never wavered.

What amazes me is how you’ve turned your struggles, your fire, and your questions into strength not just for yourself, but for others. You’ve grown into someone braver, wiser, and more resilient than I could have ever imagined when I first held you in my arms.

As you step towards adulthood, I want you to know this: I will never stop being your safe place. You may outgrow my lap, my rules, my ways — but you will never outgrow my heart. My hope for us is that we continue to find balance — me learning to let go a little more, and you letting me hold on in the ways you’ll still need.

Seventeen is a bridge year. You’re still my child, but also a young woman learning to stand on her own. And I’m still the same mom — fumbling, imperfect, emotional — but loving you with everything I have.

Happy Birthday, my brave girl.
Here’s to the raw, real, messy, beautiful journey of us — mother and daughter, always learning, always loving.

It all started with this email, when 8 year old Anoushka wrote to me...I laughed and also felt proud that she could think like this. Me and her use to watch Shark Tank US and Chota Bheem together, alternating one episode. I was a stay at home dad, Monika was running her CA Firm. Prajakht Deotale your message on this post made her take the next step and Anti Bullying Squad was born. Lot of people supported her in this journey - Rohit Bajaj Director Pathways School Gurgaon for his belief in her and Namita Thapar for mentoring her at Thapar Entrepreneurs Academy at that young age when no one took her seriously, can't thank them enough.

Rest is history, God has been very kind 🙏 and it fills us parents Manu K Jolly and Monicka M Jolly with immense pride and humility, also with a lot of responsibility that we enable her to carry on her path and make whatever sacrifices are needed to achieve that.

We are all enablers but one thing that makes Anoushka -- Anoushka is Consistency and Persistence! Ive seen her put her head down and work towards her goal for last 8 years, work with passion and happiness....when I ask her to go out more often and have fun, she says "what I am doing is fun Papa, I love it" inspite of her achievements, she is so grounded and gets up everyday to achieve more. She also is like any other teenager and a riot sometimes.
