Prayers up for all the first-responders, innocent lives, and their loved ones. Grateful to have completed these stairs while back home in Pennsylvania this morning before an arms workout.

You said you would never forget; let’s make sure that holds true🇺🇸🦅🙏.

1️⃣ You don’t have to have something 100% figured out when you start or sign up. Defaulting to action is the best way to execute, but more importantly, you must have the tenacity to support your execution.

2️⃣Be healthily psychotic in life; overly ambitious. Nobody made it far in life or left a mark on the world by playing small. Life starts the moment you step outside your comfort zone.

3️⃣Discipline CERTAINLY compounds. Take care of your body long-term so you can participate in opportunities when they arise on short notice. When you push through on the days you don’t want to, you learn the most about yourself and your character.

4️⃣Having a solid WHY will kick in everytime you feel like wanting to give up or quit. When you can mentally dig deep as the going gets tough, it only makes the experience even more fulfilling and meaningful to complete.

5️⃣The majority of your life’s limitations are all self-manufactured in your own head and further inhibited by fear of execution. You truly are capable of so much more than you realize.

HIGHLY encourage you to compete if you haven’t already! I’m definitely excited for my next one!

God Bless You and may you continue to evolve into the person He has intended you to be, for eternity and beyond.

This event from First Quarter deserved its own post. 16 days to register, train, and compete in what is the 1st of many HYROX races. Tickets for Houston, which is the location we wanted to compete in, had been sold out for months. Until checking that there were 2 that opened up, 16 days before the event. God had lined things up perfectly to compete, and we had no choice but to commit, lock-in, and figure it out. It was going to be the longest I’ve ever ran at once (over 5 miles), and I had never touched HYROX’s format of SkiErg, Sled Push, or Sled Pull (3/8 Fitness Events).

Ironically/unironically though, these are the moments in life when you learn the most about yourself before you evolve. Through efficient training and dawg mentality, we scored top finishes within our heat and within our age group, coming within 44 seconds of our final goal.

You find out a lot about yourself when there’s no other options but to execute; but to figure it out or figure it out. Highly encourage everyone to consider competing because it was an extremely rewarding and humbling experience.

If I could do it, so can you. Here’s to the races ahead… taken in George R. Brown Convention Center by @manwith2names

“If you think the price of growth is too high, wait until you get the bill of regret”.

Probably the most important quote I’ve heard so far this decade, but I’m even more grateful that I put these words into action.

While PA will always & forever be home, a new chapter has begun: The Texas Resident.

Take the risk or lose the chance.
All Glory to God.
