The temple isn’t just a building.

In this conversation, a member of the Caribbean Hindu Cultural Society reflects on the idea that what we seek isn’t always found outside of us. Whatever we require, whatever we need, already exists within.

God isn’t confined to the walls of a temple. The temple can be a place to connect, reflect and remember what has always been within us.

But what does that mean to you?

💭 Do you believe spirituality is something we find within ourselves, or something we find through places, people and community?

Watch the full conversation and share your thoughts in the comments. 👇

Some places hold more than history; they hold stories, traditions and a sense of belonging. 🪔❤️
Taking the time to learn about our heritage allows us to reconnect with our roots, understand the generations before us and appreciate the culture that continues to shape who we are today.

A special shoutout to the Indo-Caribbean Temple in Brixton for welcoming us and sharing a glimpse into the beauty of the community, its traditions and its spiritual home. 🧡

May we continue to celebrate our heritage, preserve our traditions and pass our stories on to the next generation.

For Starfruit, Kingsbury represents something important: home. The familiar streets you grow up around, the places that shape you before you even realise they have. A backdrop for adolescence, friendship and figuring out who you are. 🌟

Every part of Brent tells a different piece of the story.

Where should we scout next? 🔍
