MAORA CANDLES A NEW WAY TO IGNITE CRAFTSMANSHIP We introduce MAORA’s new collection of candles, an extension of its ceramic language into a more intimate and sensorial scale. Inspired by the brand’s signature ceramic latticework, the collection brings together matter, colour, fragrance and light in a piece that transforms one of Maora’s most recognisable elements. Traditionally conceived to filter light and create rhythm between architecture and space, the latticework now becomes the structure of an object designed to be experienced through the senses. Four shapes, four colours, four fragrances, four atmospheres: Bloque, Órbita, Volta and Corola. Each candle is handcrafted in Valencia, preserving the variations and imperfections inherent to the ceramic process. Once the wax is gone, the ceramic remains as an object with its own presence. Inspired by the vernacular architecture of Valencian farmhouses, Casa Pipa unfolds as an intimate domestic journey — a sequence of interconnected spaces where everyday moments meet more theatrical experiences. Rooted in local tradition, the interior combines natural materials, warmth and carefully considered details to create a timeless sense of place. A HOUSE WITH MEMORY Our ceramics are now part of a restored house shaped by memory, and craftsmanship. Historically formed by the addition of different volumes, the house was approached by architect David Estal with a clear intention: not to erase its irregularities, but to work with them and preserve what made it special. Our handmade ceramics become part of this material language, bringing texture, warmth and the beauty of craftsmanship into the everyday life of the home. The interior design draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, its materials, traditions and local craftsmanship, creating spaces that feel deeply connected to the character of the region. At the heart of the hotel, the central courtyard brings together an Andalusian-style fountain and traditional Valencian tiles, handmade in by MAORA. From the traditional ‘esmorzaret’ to long lunches, late dinners and the last drink at the bar, every detail is designed to invite people to stay a little longer.
