I kept this one waiting for a long time.

At some point, I realized I didn’t need someone else to finish it, scan it, or make it worth sharing.

So I did it myself.

I really love how the two pages ended up connecting, like one big collection of random little things I found and wanted to draw.

I wanted to draw something weird for once. 🐠✨

Lately I’ve been drawing a lot of portraits and semi-realistic stuff, so I wanted to step outside of that and try something more colorful, dreamlike and a little strange.

This little fish reminded me of the weird things I see in my dreams. There’s no deeper meaning behind it — I just liked the idea of a tiny orange fish staring at me in the middle of nowhere.

I also challenged myself to find the colors by eye instead of picking them directly from a reference. It’s a small thing, but it made the whole process feel more like mine.

I think I want to start drawing more things like this: weird little ideas, brighter colors, strange places and whatever happens to be in my head. 💭🌈

Just experimenting and letting myself draw whatever feels like me.

When you’re depressed so you draw Blue Diamond studies because apparently that’s a healthy coping mechanism 💙

I’ve always loved the way Steven Universe portrays grief, sadness and the feeling of being unable to move on.

I really love these lines from Steven Universe, so I wanted to make little studies around them.

Also yes, the last slide is extremely important.
